If I posted a question and it is put on hold, how long do I generally have to improve it before it gets deleted?

@GarrettMotzner you have all the time in the world. You can edit your deleted question - I tested that about a month ago on one of my own deleted questions (note this probably won't work on self-deleted questions). And after you're done you flag it for moderator asking them to consider undeletion
