Nothing I said was intended as a personal slight---but when you say "hey, look at this!" my general assumption is that you want me to look at what other people have done, not what you have done (unless you specifically ask me to respond to your comments).

My baseline assumption is that folk are confident in their own speech, unless they are specifically asking for backup or confirmation or some such.

This question, asked about 10 hours ago, and this question, asked about 35 minutes ago, are basically the same. Also, the first question's user name is Vinoth & the second one's is "vinod vinod". Since the names are also so similar, I suspect they are from the same user. Should I flag this, or just vote to close both questions?

@JohnOmielan I'd suggest to definitely vote to close, since they are both PSQs, and also flag — perhaps their new account was created by mistake, or perhaps to avoid a post ban (assuming both users are indeed the same), but in either case mods can investigate and decide if any action is needed.

I don't know if a moderator can or wants to do something about it now, but I am massively serial upvoted (about 30 votes) after I left comments about plagiarism here: math.stackexchange.com/q/4259077/42969

@Peter That's true. – I have some suspicions where those votes come from, and could not resist to leave comments at the (now deleted) question math.stackexchange.com/q/4259077/42969. (Yes, I know, I should not. Flag and move on!) Of course that is all pure speculation.

@XanderHenderson No problem. I meant, when saying "hey look at this", was intended to say this post/question in inappropriate. I was not asking for assessment of comments, some of which came later. In any case, no problem, and I'm sorry for suggesting "what about me", which was certainly not of great importance, and rather selfish.

@XanderHenderson Understood, but I pinged you before commenting. And your approach is fine. Sometimes I like to make note of problematic posts, (more so on main than on meta), to help in establishing patterns.
