it's named after a previous tor site for illegal drug sales.

@quid

@Bellatrix yes?

@quid quid is it true that you can 'hide' edited posts so that they won't show in the main page?
see the latest comments in this posts math.meta.stackexchange.com/questions/31132/…
Am I correct in what I said?
if it's private information then feel free to delete my comments

@Bellatrix I can do tag merges. That's it mostly. I cannot do edits without bumping, or hide posts. Well, I could delete them (to undelete them latter), but that'd go a bit far.

@quid ah, I got it. Then I missunderstood your comment from days ago: "I can change all the instances of holomorphic-functions to complex-analysis without bumping or notifying anyone with a few clicks." When I saw changes then I thought in edits which in turn means bumping but then you also said "..without bumping or notifying anyone with a few clicks." which is why led me to think about my comment above.

@Bellatrix no it is specficially I can change all instances of one tag to another tag.
In other words I can rename a tag. (Possibly to an already existing one. )

@quid got it. Thank you

You are welcome.

With two questions at the same time, there is no space left in the community bulletin for other questions from Mathematics Meta. I have mentioned this also in Math Meta Chat.
I am not sure to which extent this should be considered problem - but I still thought that it is worth mentioning.

10:41 AM
On the other hand, it seems that there (at the moment) there are no other posts that could qualify as hot on meta. I see only one questions in the last 14 days with score >=3 in the (discussion) tag.
Probably the better way to search would be not with absolute date (as I did above) but with relative date.

@MartinSleziak We could consider to unfeature some things (temporarily). We always can refeature them. For some things this could actually be useful. For example for the Bounty chat room. Frequent users likely saw it already. Yet it could make sense to mention it from time to time down the road.
Thinking about it, maybe we should try to promote existing activities from time to time.
Years ago there was a group that answered old questions in some chat.

@quid By bounty chatroom you mean this: Would it be a good idea to create a Bounty chatroom? That question is older than 14 days - so that one will not be picked into the community bulletin.
@quid If you mean The Crusade of Answers, that room still exists: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/9141

@MartinSleziak I meant that we could unfeature "Pearl Dive" to make space.

I see. When you said "Bounty chat room", I thought that you mean the one created recently by Bellatrix.

@MartinSleziak yes that's what I meant. I was under the impresion that it still exists, but I doubt it is well known, while it could be useful to make it known.

As I said above, at the moment there are no other questions that could be picked up into the community bulletin. (Although I realized that only after I posted the above message.)
I see that stats about number of unanswered questions are no longer posted there: chat.stackexchange.com/users/-341/unanswered-tracker?tab=recent
I could ask mixedmath/davidlowryduda about this somewhere in chat, or I could make a post asking why this happened on meta.
I suppose that only he is able to answer the question - since he created the feed that was used for that purpose. But post on meta would have the advantage that it might bring a bit more attention to that room.
Do you think asking on meta is better?
In Math Meta Chat I have posted some SEDE queries showing the posts that have been featured at some point: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/64952/2020/1/15 I wonder whether it would be too difficult to create a query which shows those posts that were featured more than once. (Maybe I should try to created something like that when I have a bit of time.)

@MartinSleziak for this I'd rather ask him personally at first. If you have diffultly to ping him just let me now. Currently he is not as active as in the past but does stop by from time to time.

I think the natural place to ping him is the Crusade room - after all it is related to that room.

@MartinSleziak maybe I'll just ping him there
Ah right. Replies always work.

I have posted a few messages about this: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/9141/2020/1/18
I think he should get notified, as it was a direct reply to this message, exactly as you said.

Yes I noticed when I went there to summon him.

People who do not have super-ping have to use something else. :-)
