A new warning was recently implemented on MO:
2
A: Forbid (or rewrite) proxy links in answers

Jon EricsonI've added a warning similar to what Martin Sleziak suggests: The warning looks for words1 that include the string proxy and later .edu2. You can see the regex I used along with some tests at regex101.com. It shouldn't catch examples of "proxy" found in the post body. Unfortunately, it doesn't...

Probably, the similar warnings does not exist here at the moment - at least, it is not listed among the warnings in this post: Which are blacklisted tags and blacklisted phrases?

@MartinSleziak it seems (much) less of an issue here. Then, little harm could be done.

I am not a native speaker but isn't "little harm could be done" a bit ambiguous?
It could be interpreted as: "Let's do a little harm." Or (as intended): "Most likely there's no harm in doing this."
@quid More seriously, thanks for the response. In case you (and other mods) consider this useful, maybe you could ask one of the CMs (or whatever the correct terminology is).
I suppose that it makes sense to ask directly Jon Ericson - since he dealt with the same thing on MO.
BTW on MO there were not many posts with this problem, either - I listed all posts I was able to find in my answer.
If we consider the above SEDE query as a rough approximation, there are 21 results on Mathematics and 44 results on MathOverflow.
And since we're trying various sites, the same query returns 2 posts on Academia and 9 posts on Physics.
