I thought that any user can see their own deleted messages in chat. (I vaguely recall that any moderator, room owner and the author of the message can see their deleted message.)

Yes, in chat I see "(removed)" but when I click on history I can still see the message.

I am not trying to make trouble - I was just surprised by the above conversation. (Since @TheSimpliFire should be able to see their chat message even if it was deleted - without needing any assistance from moderators.) But maybe I misunderstood and it's not about a deleted message.

BTW thanks to Loong for help with the experiment :-)

Can the user who abused the CRUDE chatroom by repeatedly addressing moderators, and were forwarded to this chatroom, please be given a time out from at least the CRUDE chatroom? Perhaps such an action is already in place.

@Holo I should qualify that; a suspended user can be present and read all content in a chatroom, but cannot write...anything...during their suspension.
