Do moderators have a possibility to run reputation recalc for a particular user?
I am asking in connection with this:
You were over the rep-cap when one includes the corrected votes. In that sense it is not that surprising. What's strange though is that as I understand the answer linked by @MartinSleziak they should not count towards the cap. — quid Aug 22 at 9:23

@MartinSleziak Not really. Some actions may trigger recalcs, but by-and-large, special recalcs aren't necessary any more, since there are tons of automatic recalcs now.

ok
However in the case I linked it seems that the recalc was not done. Although it should have been done, at least according to this:
@Clive: your rep will be recalculated as if the serial votes had never happened at all. There will be no before/after, they cease to exist. — Mat May 8 '12 at 12:23
Or maybe there is some other explanation which I am missing. We will see whether the OP will add to the post what information they see in math.stackexchange.com/reputation

@MartinSleziak Could be an edge-case, because the votes were from the same day. Or Mat's comment wasn't correct anyway.

Mat's comment seem to agree with Oded♦'s answer posted there.

Since H.R. commented on Oded's answer, we could wait a bit whether Oded weighs in. He should know more about it than we.

@DanielFischer I thought that this was another strange thing. (Although I do not know much about serial upvotes reversals.) I though that having reversal on the same day as the upvotes is unusual.
@DanielFischer I did not notice that comment until now. (Well, it definitely wasn't there when I mentioned that meta.SE post in the comments :-)
Perhaps the serial voting must be in the window between midnight and 03:00 for the script to kick in on the same day...?

12:37 PM
@MartinSleziak Yes, the reversal script runs on a scheduled time, early in the (UTC) day. Most serial voting takes place in the far longer time between the running of the script and midnight.
@MartinSleziak Yup, I'm pretty sure it was your comment that led H.R. to that post.

Q: Find the Max of The function

Manolis LyviakisFind the maximum of the the function $$f(\bar x)=\sqrt{x_1^2+2x_2^2+......2016x_{2016}^2}$$ $\bar x=(x_1,x_2,....x_{2016}) \in R^{2016}$ where the domain of $f$ is $$\bar x=(x_1,x_2,....x_{2016}) \in R^{2016} :\sum_{n=1}^{2016}x_n^2=1$$. Sol: $f^2(\bar x)={x_1^2+2x_2^2+......2016x_{2016}^2}=...
