math.stackexchange.com/questions/3213449/a-coin-flipping-game : I accidentally gave a bounty @ moderators, can you please cancel it and refund? I know its against the rules but sometimes rules can be broken. Thanks and i hope you refund it.

Here is list of the users pingable in this room - I see Paramanand Singh and TheSimpliFire and Xander Henderson. (Is there another moderator in that list who I missed?)
@Mathslover I'd guess that a reasonable way to ask moderators might be using a flag (flagging for mod attention).
But I mainly wanted to mention that @moderators does not actually ping anybody. (But you probably know that.)

What I'm wondering is how was that an accident, since to place a bounty on a question you need to go through a confirmation tab

7:11 AM
@Jakobian see when you are about to start a bounty you have to enter a description right, it said in not less than 30 characters. So i didnt put any description and clicked on "start bounty" assuming that ntg would happen as i didnt put any description. but voila! it started!

@Mathslover I believe what you referring to as being against the rules, is a comment of cpiegore saying that you answering the question you posted the bounty on, with a request of reverting the bounty, is against the rules
But I don't think reverting a bounty is against the rules. But you probably would have to have a solid reason for moderators do that for you
I don't think that "It was an accident" is a good reason, I doubt moderators will do that. Though of course I'm not representing them

@Jakobian but thats genuinely what happened :(. i was just exploring the "give bounty" feature and i accidentally clicked on it. All my hard earned rep is gone now. Thats why i was hoping the mods would excuse me this time and return it

I'm not questioning if it happened

@Xander I've noticed a dozen and a half close requests (today alone) for questions with >90 upvotes, that all date back to 2010-2013. I'm not sure what to make of those votes to close. Any suggestions?

After yet another attempt to close, @Xander, in my next comment I am going to name the asker's username, with a link, and then delete it quickly. Something is up.

It was intriguing enough to look. Some reviews like this one are for the same user

@amWhy I'm on mobile right now, and chat on mobile sucks. I'll try to look at it in the morning.
