@user250478 If you're convinced your question is a great fit for MSE, you might want to spend some more time reading the site and getting a sense of what does well here. Your question as currently written would fall under the category of opinion-based; it's missing lots of context and details; and it's not really very mathematical in nature - you're asking about a "crisis in physics" without obviously connecting it to math.

It may very well be interesting or a good question in general (by whatever metrics one judges these things), but as currently constructed it is not a good fit here at MSE, and those downvotes are telling you that.
