@JyrkiLahtonen Out of curiosity, what are the possibilities to see that my votes were reversed by a script? I guess if the reversed votes were downvotes on the answer, I might be shown some reputation change. But for downvotes on questions and for upvotes, I am not really sure whether there is some reasonable possibility to find out.

@MartinSleziak Invalidated downvotes show as "voting corrected" on the reputation tab, because the rep loss is compensated. For the latter reason invalidated upvotes may not show. If the reversal were done by the daily script the list of affected posts would only include posts from the previous day (or some 24-hour window). If they span several days or years even, then the invalidation was done by a member of a staff (which is a wholesale thing, and covers the entire voting history).

My plan is to recast the downvotes in a way that makes the case that I am targetting a behavior pattern rather than a user ironclad. I believe it is my right to participate in community moderation by downvoting posts that I find "not useful" as long as I am not targetting a single user. I am fine with that.
Anyway, a moderator told me that they prefer such posts flagged rather than downvoted. I don't know why I couldn't do both, and will do so in the future.

I see. I suppose that this reputation change is shown only to the user who cast the votes. (IIRC it is the same with -1 for casting downvotes.)

Correct, @MartinSleziak. My guess is that even the diamond moderators won't see my related rep change.

Part of the reason why I asked about this is that I worry that my upvotes might sometimes be evaluated by the software as serial. (Which would lead to reversal. Maybe even suspensions?)
I guess it is ok to mention specific examples: I am fully aware that I have cast upvotes on many posts by Brian M. Scott, or t.b. (Theo Buehler). I do not know whether they were extensive enough so that software could reverse them.

@MartinSleziak I would not worry about that. Serial upvotes are mostly caught by the script (exempting a cause celebre). During my tenure I was initiated a single such reversal - a noob wanted to ingratiate themselves and cast 18 upvotes to my posts, accompanied by praising comments. It was obvious that the voter was clueless about the content, and hence unable to judge usefulness. A CM complied, and invalidated the bunch.
Anyway, if your voting got out of hand, you would first get a message, before any serious sanctions would even be considered. It might be different, if the recipient of your upvotes shares your IPs (= sibling/wife/roommate/coworker/etc). I'm not sure whether you would also get a "voting corrected" message. Possibly?

Thanks for the explanation!

I sampled the list of my invalidated posts. Delightfully many of them were on deleted posts. Take that, @theNamelessCM who thinks they were targeted!
