@arjafi I am not sure whether it would work here. But back at the time when there were several users relatively active in CRUDE room, the system "keep on the starboard and remove after it is resolved" was suggested.

An experiment: use the starboard for active requests, unstar when completed.
But even without this system, perhaps having a look at starred messages might be faster method to see whether something relevant was posted in this room rather than looking through the transcript.
Re: Flagging is usually a better option than hoping a random mod will pass by this room. I will just say that we certainly appreciate that some mods do look (and post) in this room.
But of course, if message in chat remains unnoticed and the issue is serious enough, flags are certainly a reasonable possibility. (Or perhaps in some cases even post on meta - depending on what the issue at hand is.)
@N.H. I have posted copy of your message in MathOverflow main chat room. But hardly anybody visits the room - so I doubt somebody will answer there. Among the rooms associated with MO, Homotopy theory is the most active. It's your call whether it could help to ask there.
If you have a look at discussions about cross-posting on meta, you will see that it is recommended to wait a bit longer than three days. (From your message it is not clear whether you are thinking about reposting the same question on MO or whether you are asking about migration.)

@N.H. Some basic things about how migration works can be found here. FAQ: What is migration and how does it work?
