Question for diamond-bearing MSE users, and, heck, any diamond-bearing user from the
heck, any diamond-bearing user from the SE network....In the "moderation tools", when I see a list of three candidates for deletion (those with most votes), preceded by the current number of votes for deletion, what does the number, in parentheses, following the question (answer) under review, mean?

For example...under, say, recent votes to delete, we have, say
1 What is two plus two? (2)
 
@amWhy It's the number of additional delete votes needed to actually delete the post. (Questions with a high score, or having an answer with high score, may require up to 10 delete votes.)

If you hover over that number in parentheses you'll get a tool tip saying "n more votes needed to (un)delete this question/answer".
