Why do you want to see the base 10 representation? If it is just along the lines of being more compact than the binary representation, I'd advise you to consider the base 16 (hexadecimal) representation instead. The hexadecimal representation is much easier to produce than decimal in your case, is a bit more compact than decimal, and is commonly used by (hence is familiar to many) programmers. — JaMiT 37 secs ago

Asking for off-site contact via email is unacceptable here. If the question can't be answered here, it's not appropriate to ask here. IMO, neither is the question itself, as it is not a specific question related to programming (code) or use of a programmers tool (IDE, compiler, etc.). — Ken White 37 secs ago
Library recommendations are off-topic on SO, but you could probably ask on Software Recommendations instead. Check out their on-topic page. — wjandrea 46 secs ago

You say that you don't want the "algorithms" exposed to the user, but the user has to pass an int constant that identifies them, and has to call different functions depending on the type he tells you to make. Your requirements are very unnatural for an object-oriented language, and your library will seem very strange to C++ programmers. — Matt Timmermans 17 secs ago

Please edit your question to clarify what exactly you are asking about. You can directly test whether the result of your code matches the desired output, and thus whether it is correct. Are you inquiring whether this solves the problem, or how to change it to solve the problem? Note that the letter 'g' starts at [2][0] and ends up at [0][0], so a simple swapping of row/column cannot be correct. The whole idea behind VSC is modularity - allowing programmers to use it as just an editor, or to convert it into a fully-fledged IDE. It has debugging tools, it has version control tools, and so on and so on. The idea behind it is configurability - I was simply asking if there was a tool that did this job for me. ;) — gasko 20 secs ago

Depending on whether you want support for your option or have realistic options how to deal with the developer, you might be better asking on either softwareengineering.stackexchange.com or workspace. At is is, this isn't really a software development question. — Pete Kirkham 59 secs ago

Yes, communication matters in software engineer, which is why there are other stack exchange sites that deal with it. The questions as to 'why is testing in production a bad thing' and 'why is version control a good thing' would be separate questions to ask on the software engineering sit. The 'how do I communicate with this colleague' is one for the workspace or interpersonal skills. — Pete Kirkham 40 secs ago

well the first question is, why do you need such shared variable. By using a global state, you make the system harder to scale, maintain, test, etc. In fact global state (also sometimes named God state), is a (serious) antipattern: softwareengineering.stackexchange.com/questions/148108/…Willem Van Onsem 5 secs ago
