Why is Ubuntu OS 24.04 and 22.04 stating that Mozilla software such as Firefox and Thunderbird is only available from snapd? That is completely untrue. I understand the possibly Ubuntu devs don't want to maintain Mozilla for so many supported versions of Ubuntu, but instead want to maintain a single snap package. But that does not justify snapd is the only option:

@stumblebee In a sense, they 'want' people to run snaps, so the 'in distro' releases, even installed via apt, end up being snaps
