This is my first hand experience with Linux so I'm not really sure what has gone wrong. While installing Realtek WiFi adapter I am getting the following error:

Do what you can - I find it half comical and half tragic .. 😶 I'm at a loss about how else I can explain that it's a really bad idea to go forward with this, for a person who clearly doesn't really know what they're doing.
And it seems like RealTek drivers have to be compiled from source. So advising someone who hasn't used a computer in 10 years to compile a driver for a 10 year old and insecure (and SLOW) wifi adapter isn't something I would do myself.

@ArturMeinild Well, it completely depends on the author, if they're fine with their current adapter and want to compile from source, then it's completely fine. On the other hand, if they want to purchase a new adapter that's also fine.
Please, read previous comments. If you are really sure to mess up your system, run the command sudo apt install make to install the missing make command. — FedKad1 hour ago
