I suppose I should have "Improved" your edit suggestion (after all the kbd tags were an unambiguous improvement), but when doing that the interface doesn't show how the post was before the Suggested Edit, which makes it hard to restore parts that you want to restore to the original state, thus encouraging one to reject edits that change things one does not want to be changed
