I'd like to ask 1 thing.
I have created this chatroom: https://chat.stackexchange.com/rooms/123779/chat-features-test-familiarization
and I'm going crazy in it, with e.g. testing out how the anti-spam algorithm works:
basically, I would like to see if I tried to "monologize", after how much of that the system would try to shut me up.
So far, all good.
Now my question is:
--> When I do this drill in this chatroom with apparent near-spamming, could that influence my limits imposed in other channels?
--> As in, I do a drill on how I can "monologize" in this chatroom; say, all goes well, but when I then go and try to "monologize" for real in a real chatroom (with the approval of the others there), could I expect that the system accumulates my inputs, and suddenly cuts me short in the real scenario?
@terdon ? May I ask your assistance? Do you know this? ^^

As far as I know, there is no system to detect long monologues in chat.
Nor any way of penalizing. What usually happens is that long monologues piss off the local chat users and the monologuer ends up being kicked out of the room by a room owner or mod.

No-no, my case would be with local approval, asked first.
And I have found some limitation mechanism, but couldn't reliably determine what can trigger it.

@Levente The only one I know of is that you are rate limited: you cannot post more than X messages in Y time.

Right, so my question is, whether this is counted as accumulated across all rooms, or whether I start with a clean slate in each room...

@Levente There is no "slate" to clean. You just aren't allowed to spam the chat server with more one message per second.
