Is a question about running Ubuntu in Termux any different than a question about running it in Vbox?

@C.S.Cameron I think that since the question is about Ubuntu, it's on-topic.

I am new to ubuntu. I am not sure whether I am asking this question at right place or not.
I have erased windows and installed ubuntu 20. But after installation I am not able to boot. In BIOS I can see ubuntu option but when I click nothing happens.
I am using ASUS F571 - UEFI system with GPT disk partitions. I have tried to repair GRUB from Live ubuntu disk but nothing happens. Can somebody please help.

Best ask here askubuntu.com

Q: Do we support Ubuntu on Termux?

KulfyTermux is an Android terminal emulator and Linux environment app. Termux's wiki contains instructions to install Ubuntu on top of their Android app. I don't think it is a standalone distribution or official derivative of Ubuntu. Do we support questions specific to Ubuntu on Termux? Since Termux...

@BeastOfCaerbannog I don't think so. It's not officially supported by Canonical.

Seems it is very differnt then running a VM

@Kulfy I don't agree with Rinzwind's answer. Termux is not an OS, but an Android terminal emulator. I doesn't have to be officially supported by Canonical in the same sense as QEMU isn't officially supportd by it. Also, not referencing Ask Ubuntu as a support community isn't enough to say that it shouldn't be supported.
I agree with muru's answer. We can't support everything related with Termux, but we could support parts regarding Ubuntu, as muru says.
In my opinion, if there is a reason not to support it, that would be that it uses the Android kernel and not the Linux one.
