My confusion is regarding from where to install..
There's a package named virtualbox in multiverse..
Or else should I download the .deb file from VirtualBox's website:
Or else should I edit the /etc/apt/sources.list as mentioned in the website and follow the steps?

The release notes of Ubuntu 20.10 has been released. So I hope Ubuntu 20.10 is on-topic from today. Or am I wrong?

@technastic_tc yes, I think that should be on-topic since 22Oct and no issue
@technastic_tc honestly I never had install VirtualBox on Ubuntu, but always the best option is to installing from the repository
if it's available then go with that, else install from the file in virtualbox.org
