I've been trying to hide my IP in an remote machine on Google Compute Engine. My goal is to make API calls, send HTTP requests on this machine but avoiding abuse from third parties who might try to harm me and my systems if they knew what my fixed IP address really is.

I have deleted the root partition on my ubuntu box. The partition was encrypted with LUKS
So far I have managed to find the partition and decrypt it
with
losetup -o 0xXXXXXXXX -r -f /dev/sda
losetup -a
cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/loop8 luksrecover
I can seen the device in
/dev/mapper/luksreco...
I have a server running Ubuntu 18.04 with NFS setup. I have couple of services putting/manipulating files in that share as well as other clients accessing it over network. I want NFS server to set default permissions on all new files/folders to 775.
I've set s flag on folder so all new created ...

I did sudo chown -R lord: ./ in the /home directory on Ubuntu 14.04 (lord is my name).
