Hello,

I have problem when launching Ubuntu by virtualbox, and this comes after trying to install guest additions. The operation didn't complete (for some reason) so I terminated the process forcely, and I removed the image from the controller: IDE (from virtualbox settings). eventually, Ubuntu don't boot.

9:22 AM
It seems the image from controller: IDE is the cause of the start-up failure. Do you have any idea how to retain it?

Hello I want to ask a simple question since im new ubunter
how the command chmod protect passwords that within files

10:11 PM
@Student404Mus what do you mean by that? guessing: chmod 600 on a file prevents the group (2nd digit) and others (3rd digit) from even seeing what is in a file.
