Q: Safe to remove snap on Ubuntu Server?

lonixI don't use snap and never install snap packages. On a new Ubuntu Server 18.04, snap list shows: No snaps are installed yet. Is it safe to remove it? I'm not sure what weird dependencies are going on in the background - so I don't want to accidentally break the system now or in the future...

Q: Why do my programs/processes get closed/killed sometimes when Ubuntu 19 is sleeping?

HirwoI originally thought my laptop had restarted, but when I checked top, it said: top - 10:12:58 up 10 days Is there a specific reason why all my programs/processes are shutdown only sometimes after I suspend my laptop? Edit: Battery power is at or near 100%.
