The Unbound DNS resolver installation on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Desktop (amd64) has at least two root.key files. One of them lives in /usr/share/dns/root.key, and the other at /var/lib/unbound/root.key.
Which one do we specify for the auto-trust-anchor-file server option in /etc/unbound/unbound.conf?

so i Tried to add it to the INPUT and OUTPUT Chains with:
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 9987 -j ACCEPT
ipta...
I'd like to use ubuntu linux under virtual box 5.2.0 .
So far, I checked out ubuntu 18.04.2 but the installation doesn't work.
Is there somebody using ubuntu under virtual box?

We have an HPC system with 32 cores zeon processor and about 100 Gb RAM. The problem is that the system hangs or works very slowly even with using 16 cores and half RAM. Its OS is ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Can anybody help me to figure out the problem? Thanks.

@Rinzwind I've known somebody to delete her Windows because it was taking too much space and she needed more to make personalised Birthday invites for her son's 12th birthday.
In setting up the root I used the following commands
sudo su
echo "student ALL=(ALL) ALL" > /etc/sudoers.d/student
chmod 440 /etc/sudoers.d/student
but my username is kenil and not student. And now I am unable to delete this student file

I was trying to find out how to run a script at startup and during shutdown during which I got to know that level 6 corresponds to reboot in ubuntu. When I opened the /etc/rc6.d every link's name started with K which is for kill I suppose.
I basically have a simple script
#!/bin/sh
sudo echo "process kill" >> /home/logfile
placed at etc/init.d/lokill
and symbolic links K99lokill to /etc/init.d/lokill placed at /etc/rc0.d and /etc/rc6.d
But after I restart the system ,the logfile is not even created.
I've created similar script ...
@Fabby You are the backup king with your killer Q&A. How would you copy a group of files by wildcard? ie cp Filename* *.bak copies Filename1 to Filename1.bak, Filename2 to Filename2.bak, etc. I've got 5 or 6 answers so far and thought you'd want in on the game: askubuntu.com/questions/1153994/…
