Note for anybody trying to upload a package to their PPA: failure from PUBKEY error is not your fault. The LP keyservers are having some trouble. Just try again until it worked.

you're using a while loop in a thread without any delay

I bet you're overloading and the next runs of that function are being queued to run

you should really be using RxJava's Observable for async stuff

@TheWanderer in my actual code, I'm only drawing inside if (elapsedTimeSinceLastFrameDraw > REDRAW_SCHED), otherwise I'm doing Thread.yield()

currently I have REDRAW_SCHED set at 16ms (for 60FPS)
