Mainly cuz it is not easy to get armed in Holland and when someone does get guns he usually tends to use them for robberies

I think most school shootings have very little to do with owning guns. It seems to me most of them are either clinically depressed or on drugs which is things we need to fix in society, not by banning guns.

@Seth depends on the circumstances. a jeweler's wife here shot 2 burglars dead. She is going to go to jail for 2 reasons: 1. unregisterd gun. 2. burglars had knifes. Using a gun with the intent to kill was deemed excessive.

Nowadays you have to deal with irrational behaviour.
