hey guys! I just installed ubuntu 14.10 and only now I noticed that I'd like to have gnome instead. Do I have to reinstall or is there anything else I can do?
hum, it is asking me to choose a display manager. should I choose gdm or lightdm? I dont remember what I had the last time I had gnome, it was a while ago
I have DOLBY speakers on Lenovo z50. I dont have any real problem with my laptop speaker, there is difference in sound quality on same hardware but differnt OS - windows 8 and Ubuntu.
sound quality is good on Ubuntu but it is great with all minute details on Windows 8, is there anything we can do...
I tried it a while back, but gave up 'cause it was laggy on my craptop. And that was like GNOME 3.2/3.3 days. It looks like it has got quite a bit better recently.
@TheX Oh, BTW. I bred the horses, so if you see any baby horses or horses without saddles in the pen - those are mine . I just need to find a saddle :P
Hum, I know this is embarrassing, but here it goes anyway... I had Ubuntu, I now installed Gnome, and after all this isn't what I was looking for. I remember using a version of ubuntu that, for instance, would show you all windows when you put your mouse on the corner of the screen, but I dont remember its name
@NathanOsman I dont see my desktop wallpaper, that windows overview doesnt work and I dont know whats wrong. Maybe it was the update from Ubuntu to Gnome?
