@ThomasWard Can this room freeze? I know there's something keeping the main rooms thawed but that might just be a process that ensure at least one site room is always unfrozen. AFAIK there's no flag for a site's main room, but e.g. the main room over on Bioinformatics which is almost never used hasn't frozen despite nothing having been posted there for 21 days.

Probably an answer somewhere on MSE...

Actually, the "last standing" chat room is the one that won't be frozen, regardless if it's "main" chat room or not. CS50's "main" chat room is frozen because there were newer active chat rooms, until someone deleted the last one, and now the site doesn't have any open chat room... — Meta Andrew T.
