Q: Ubuntu 18.04 workspaces only work after shell restart

NeergaardI'm experiencing a problem with Ubuntu 18.04, where I can't access/create workspaces. The only workaround is to restart the shell via Alt+F2, and then typing 'r'. Has anyone experienced similar issues, and found a more permanent workaround?
