including work, that's 86 hours per week busy

you have 168 hours in a week, subtracting 86... gives us 82 free hours per week.

let's say you have a sane sleeping schedule and get 8 hours a day, for 56 hours a week asleep.

bringing you to 26 hours free per week.

let's say you're in meals for 2 hours per day, that's another 14 hours.

meaning you only have 12 hours free per week to do what you want.

let's say you spend four hours a week shopping, doing housework, etc...

that's 8 hours a week free. Not fun.

Or, you get a tiny bit more than an hour a day to do what you want with your life.

and that doesn't include commutes.

98 hours not-busy - 56 hours (8 hours asleep per day) = 42 hours awake non-busy

take away four hours for home care and personal hygiene, etc, you get 24h free.

ok something is totally baffling me; I was having problems with PHP and apache so I just switched to a totally different Ubuntu image (16.10 server), which has no server package installed at all, to my knowledge (I ran a sudo find -name "apache" from / and nothing), yet when I navigate to the IP address of the server I'm still seeing 'It works!'. Huh?

for a week my Ubuntu kept freezing every 10 seconds, video would pause for split second and last word on tv would repeat. Mouse would freeze as would keyboard. Turned out to be blacklisted Nouveau driver was loaded in the kernel and I just had to "modprobe -r nouveau" it???

if nothing, your bootloader probably isn't configured correctly on your USB, try remaking it.

@RonnieDroid I'm just going to guess off the top of my head that your ISO wasn't necessarily built right. Do MD5 validation first to make sure the ISO was downloaded right.
