i downloaded jdk from a website it was a tar file and when i opened it doesn't has any .run file, then i asked here yesterdays and somebody tell me to extract it in opt, now i extract in opt what should i have to do right now

@Sandro the easy answer is: don't use Oracle JDK. There is no reason to unless you are 100% sure that you need the Oracle version and the Openjdk won't do. For 99% of the cases, there is no need for Oracle and you can just sudo apt-get install openjdk-8-jdk

I use this script. You need to replace the jdk filename on 6th line. execute it from same directory as the jdk paste.ubuntu.com/23177567 @Sandro . However, as others said, 99% of time you don't need oracle jdk.

Q: Mousepad not working after suspend Ubuntu 16.04

My mousepad is not working after suspend on a Lenovo E460. It used to work perfectly but after this it no longer even appears in xinput. I have tried to plug in a mouse and that works fine. Edit: Restarting etc. does not make it work again, it is completely gone as of after the suspend.
