I think I'm gonna go back and edit couple of old answers. As i progress, i learn more and more, and i think it would be beneficial for others to see more ways of how things can be done
You have a lot of kernels installed, they take up a lot of space (300 MiB per kernel). You also have a good number of other packages that were installed as dependencies, and for various reasons, are not needed anymore.
You can safely clean all that with the following command:
sudo apt autoremov...
wow, it gets better (after the OP scoffs at the idea): If you don't value (...) me using my time personally to help you that much, you don't want to make Ubuntu better, you are just needy.

@Videonauth The things is, if you want to rewards someone in monetary form, handle it privately and outside of AU. That's acceptable thing. @KazWolfe I don't care about RMS , quite frankly. I kind of care about the youtubers who put out videos every day , bringing me contents that I love, which is why I don't block no ads anymore. I've come to realize it's my favorite content creator's money,and byjeezus I do want to support them

pretty much the whole system is owned by root... unless you are lazy or have nothing you care about, there's no need to reinstall as there are not that many things to chown after running chown root: /the/whole/shebang

@NathanOsman I couldn't agree with your more about the CRTC... They think they are the glue that holds Canada together and empower themselves in all areas of thought control, the economy and to a certain extend the job markets.
