@Suhaib The function in the usb-creator def format(self, device): of Backend.py from /usb-creator/usbcreator/backends/udisks/backend.py seems to me what does the formatting. You could probably figure out the function from there.

There is a two-click possibility using WinUSB.
To install WinUSB, execute the following commands in terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:colingille/freshlight
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install winusb
I have tested this in 12.04 and 12.10.
@Ta I've tried it but doesn't boot. For some unknown reason. Then I tried a Cd (to check if the problem was with some block created by some configuration) and it worked. But I need to use a USB stick.
@Takkat the thing is that WinUSB was updated to support Raring Ringtail, but it still didn't worked. I also saw a bunch of commentaries on a website that follow the same steps from the answer you linked just now and a lot of people says it didn't worked.
