I am running Gnome 3 and am trying to get conky to work. When I just installed and ran conky in terminal, this showed up.
So I googled how to make it look better and I found Conky Colors. I followed this guide
and when I ran it, nothing showed up on the screen but conky shows up in the system ...
Actually it is like this: 1. After about two minutes someone posts only a link to a blog describing something totally different in poor English 2. Another three minutes later someone else will post some horribly formatted code 3. A comment will be posted that they won't do my homework for me 4. Someone flags the question 5. It'll get posted in the Meta.SO chat 6. It is closed
This is crazy. My laptop will not move an inch, and ubuntu will get perfect wifi reception, then I reboot into windows and it can't keep a solid connection for five minutes.
@GeorgeEdison, the Clear chat user script is awesome. I wonder why I didn't come up with something like that. All I did was making Trollface cursor icons for my chat room. :D

Ubuntu boots perfectly fine, but you can only log in as a guest. So in order to recover the files, we now need to find root.disk so we can mount it and recover the data using ecryptfs-utils.

I'm looking at this -- seems like the provided answer is what I would have said. NTFS corrupted the image.. but if you can log in as guest thats a no-go for the answer.
Oh yeah, i'm a big supporter of the Github toolchain.
I have tons of people chastise me for using it over a public service - but i ignore their ignorant whims... mostly because github IS a public service...
I'm kind of sad you cant get private google code repositories though. That would have been nice to roll our entire company up into the google cloud. #firstworldproblems
Well.. he answered the users question. He covered it pretty well from the man page. It's going to assume you know what you're doing. You should resolve questions manually unless you've done a pilot and this is for a mass system deployment of subsequent machines in a paralell environment.
