9:00 PM
@rlemon well you use chromium and not chrome :P

@Alvar so??
and I am trying to upgrade chromium

it's likely not finished yet
chromium doesn't publish releases
someone has to like, manually make a release after chrome does a release

@rlemon they aren't the same..

it's usually less than 24 hours though

@Alvar yes, I knew this - hence why i'm asking for chromium and not chrome.

9:06 PM
@rlemon after a while yes...

@JorgeCastro odd that they list 16 as stable.
@Alvar what do you mean after a while?

@rlemon but is it released?
@rlemon you didn't say it was chromium at first..

55 mins ago, by rlemon
ok so I have chrome 15

yes then later
42 mins ago, by rlemon
chromium browser
was a typo - and was made clear

9:08 PM
@rlemon it hasn't been built yet...

but this is all besides the point @Alvar

@rlemon no..

@Alvar you being confused because you missed the line where i corrected and stated chromium not chrome is besides the point.

@rlemon look in the last column to the right, it says not build

OH MY FLUFFY UNICORN BBQ! My Nexus S just got the Ice Cream Sandwich update!!

9:09 PM
@rlemon true :P but it was 15 min later...

talking to a wall :P

@OctavianDamiean woooooooooow... cough
@rlemon still chromium 16 hasn't been built yet, it's just a source.

Ok so basically the guy who told me that 16 was good to go was wrong.

so therefor it's not available for download..
@rlemon ehm, no, 16 is good to go as a source.
not as an update..

so, as far as my definition of 'good to go', no it is not.
'good to go' should not have 'some assembly required'

9:11 PM
@rlemon well welcome to Linux then.

but thats just me...

If you want it now, compile it. If you want it easy, just wait...

9:32 PM
@fossfreedom Can you put the webupd8 part of your answer as a seperate answer or in the other webupd8 answer? I'd like that answer to not be dependent on scripts from third parties before I give out a bounty
@rlemon Chrome 16 is good to go, chromium not so much.
There's no such thing as "Chromium" as a product
it's just people that take the drop that makes "Chrome 16" and push it out as a package
and call it Chromium 16

it's an awesome question and a very good answer! :)
I was just about to ask it when I found it :)

9:48 PM
cool
sorry if i'm being impatient or snippy; i'm working on a UI design (which I hate doing) and Chromium keeps bugging out on me, really pissing me off!
bout to /ragequit and go home for the day
just installed chrome - too bad i'm already frustrated

jrg
@rlemon Chromium and Chrome are both evilish.
but in their own special ways

@rlemon i just use Chrome for everything

but everything runs so much faster in them!!!!! Y U NO WORK WELL WITH JSFIDDLE WHEN CONSOLE IS OPEN?!?!?!?!

you only need to use Chromium if you prefer an OSS version

9:52 PM
@JorgeCastro I will, when I get the patience to copy over my bookmarks and install all of my extensions again (likely tomorrow)

Q: What do I need to do to switch from Ubuntu to Lubuntu on a dual boot computer?

DennisI got a new laptop which makes my old one with a dual boot of XP and 11.10 redundant. Everything has been moved over and this is a perfect chance to play around with variants. I would like to replace the Ubuntu with Lubuntu but assume that if I just remove the Ubuntu partition to make room ther...

@jrg whooot?! reinstall?!
or install the lubuntu dekstop and then just remove the ubuntu desktop xD

anyone here work much with jQuery UI framework?

jrg
@JorgeCastro can't close, can't answer, can't do anything? :(

do you need close votes?
it's late but i could do some i guess :)

@TheX lol ok will post once i'm done modifying one I found interesting

@jrg yeah

still don't know how to remove one particular error >.<

11:03 PM
@jrg I am having a hard time getting them off my list
it's either a vote by me, a close vote, or a plea from an update from the person
which leaves it stuck
@htorque are you checking the review queue for close votes?
that's the way to roll

not very often, just went through the only ones that were there.
