Q: How far can I stretch the "Use within X days of opening" warning?

GreybeardMany refrigerated products (Bacon, ham, black pudding etc.) have this warning on the packs. I assume this is due to being packed in a protective atmosphere. Provided I wrap the remainder securely in cling film or Saran wrap and use it before its "Use By" date, will it still be safe to eat past th...

@Tinkeringbell Are we discussing same topic? 😅 I mean the link you shared where you post answers for formatting testing. If I post my own answer with blah blah blah for testing, will it be allowed? On the question itself, it is written that annoying answers will be deleted.
 
@Vikas Yeah. Well, if you just want to test something in say like 30 minutes, that's not annoying or obnoxious... but if you're going to be editing that answer/bumping the post for days, every minute then... welll yeah :P
 
Also, do you know if closed/duplicated/delete questions are counted when the site shows total questions? For example, in GDSE, there are around 33,000 questions. So does it include duplicate/deleted/closed questions too?

@Vikas I think it does show duplicate and closed questions, but not deleted ones.
