What you should read depends on what you know.

The book that I mentioned is helping to solve one of my confusions: Hilbert deduction, natural deduction, ... Some books only adopt one way, and leave me confused about the others.

I am also wondering: What is the relation betw computability ( or recursion theory) and logic? Why some logic books have that part, despite the two seem unrelated:

The first step in learning logic is not to attempt to learn a formal treatment of logic.

You must first learn to use a deductive system for FOL. Do you know one?
