Q: Markdown in Chat fails for Multi-Line Messages, a Reprise

Kaz WolfeSo, we are all aware of this post, which essentially says that messages with multiple lines are considered to be "pasted" and therefore have no markdown processing run on them. All well and good, until it's actually useful to have. I'd respectfully like to revisit this topic now, almost six yea...

Q: Markdown in chat fails for multi-line messages

sbiWe've come to rename Markdown to Letdown in the C++ chat room because it lets you down so often. I've now just found a pattern. It seems markdown fails for multi-line messages. That is, this Letdown can't cope with multi-line comments. Let's see code? fails to display code marked as co...

[so], [math.se], [stat.se], [mathoverflow.se] and similar shortcuts are expanded in chat: Stack Overflow, Mathematics, [stat.se], MathOverflow.
Is there something similar for per site metas and Meta Stack Exchange?
[math.meta.se] gives Mathematics Meta
[meta.mathoverflow.se]gives [meta.mathoverflow.se]
So [meta.se] works and it gives Meta Stack Exchange.
[interpersonal.meta.se] gives Interpersonal Skills Meta
Test: [meta.mathoverflow.se], [mathoverflow.meta.se]
So it seems that neither [meta.mathoverflow.se] nor [mathoverflow.meta.se] works.

A: Add data.SE style "magic links" to comments

balphaMost of these now work. My comment below has the following markdown source: On [main], you are expected to write proper English (as advertised on [english.se]), but here on [meta.se] it's more important to have freehand circles, so please [edit] your post, otherwise I'll have to flag you (see...

The above post says: "To link to a site-specific Meta site, use: [sitename.meta.se] or [meta.sitename.se]."
It seems similar thing works for per-site-metas, such as Interpersonal Skills Meta obtained using [interpersonal.meta.se]. I wasn't able to find magic link for MathOverflow Meta: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/message/51378317#51378317. Is there one? (I wasn't sure whether to ask here in a comment or whether to post a separate question on this.) — Martin 1 min ago
