Are my questions too obscure? I've noticed that my recent question, which I asked yesterday, still has low views, no comments, no votes, and no answers.
You usually get more answers to questions you didn't already answer for yourself. When you've already thought of an answer, it's less clear how new proposed answers should seek to be different. Try isolating a specific problem with the solution you thought of so far: what should an alternative do better?
Alternatively, you can try implementing your idea, then post it on the Code Review StackExchange which handles "this code works, but how can it be made better?" type questions.
