I didn't see that error posted when I searched Math Meta. Is it possible to search questions directly for mathjax markdown terms?

Well, here's something that doesn't work: I thought maybe you could replicate the look of a rotated vector bracket by stringing together the characters "┌─┐" and "└─┘". But when I tried to use them in mathjax, their horizontal alignment changes:

@DMGregory uses curly style braces : $$\overbrace{\\v\\e\\c\\t\\o\\r}\\\underbrace{}$$
It has a bit of extra space underneath the r though. And I'm not sure if it works well when strung together with other expressions.
