@bruglesco what do you want to do with Qt?

11:04 AM
@Tyyppi_77 they have built in GUI components, no? Also, are their signals and slots good for event handling?

Q: Webgl page heap size increasing in each page load then crash

Muhammad Faizan KhanI am getting aw snap or sometime not enough memory problem when I reload my webgl page. I have a webgl project which is empty (just a camera + light), developed in unity3d. I am reloading it, and profile its memory. As you can see that its load 1.2MB in first load then 1281 MB in second then 15...

@bruglesco is Qt good for anything :P?

@GabrieleVierti It happens that this kind of ting is created by someone who just wants to profit and is not linked at all to those they pretend they will help.
@bruglesco For a mix of decent challenge and efficiency?
@GabrieleVierti How can a project depend on a pch?

@AlexandreVaillancourt it doesn't. it just made compiling a little less tedious and fast, since you are not recompiling everything everytime you build you code..

I know what they are for, I was just wondering why you wrote that the project depended on that :)
But yeah, not having them must be a pain, and I'm surprised it does not support them.
Also, don't use use CMake to generate the project files?

@AlexandreVaillancourt I mostly am looking for a library with prebuilt widgets and controls. I'm using SFML right now and making my own buttons and text boxes and drop downs. Also not sure how signals and slots work but I heard it was a command pattern approach and could be used for event handling. SFML is efficient enough for my needs.

@bruglesco I'm no longer too sure about Qt. It might be a good tool for some games, but maybe not. It looks like it evolved since the last time I touched it (10+ years, ??).

@AlexandreVaillancourt i was using premake, which is unfortunately not supported :(

Why do you use premake over CMake?
