@theforestecologist all right, I can wait for longer as long as we keep getting some input :)

@AlwaysConfused Some user named Gerry informed me that such a feature is already present in all chartrooms. Not an exact count-down timer, but while editing a message after a considerable time an alert displays that you have 10 sec left. I was talking about that. I think it's fine to have that notification as we/I don't really need a timer counting down because the chatroom doesn't have long messages that often.
And about comments, I've no opinion, I don't need a timer there. If you want or fell that could be important you may post an answer on the concerned meta post.

Hi, everyone :-) I'm a bit new to the Biology S.E and have joined today to enquire about the field of Cognitive Neuroscience.

Hi @Kaumudi.H and welcome to the Biosphere
what can I help you with?

user228700
Hey, @Accidental! Didn't know that you hang out here as well! :-)

no, it's my first time here

user228700

Thinking of shifting to bio? :P

user228700
@blue Again, it's not Biology in its crudest form, but something like that, yes.

IISC Bangalore has a dedicated program from CN

I don't think it is a good idea to specialize at the UG level

@blue All of them are Masters & PhD.

@Kaumudi.H Umm, so you want to study CN at the UG level or something?

2:44 PM
Hello everyone!

user228700
@blue Very limited universities offer that course. I want to know which UG course is best suited to pursue a career in this field.

user228700
@BerryHolmes Hi! :-)

user228700
Psychology, Biology, Computer Science, that's what I'm hearing...

user228700
@blue Dude. I've done quite a bit of research :-)

@Kaumudi.H You need expert advice

user228700
Exactly.

@Kaumudi.H Thanks. I usually hang out at Chem.SE, but today I had a stupid question which I'm afraid I couldn't deduce so I asked it on here.

It's a field where very few people work

So have patience !

Cya!

@blue Yes, I know. Hopefully, I'll be able to find something.

user228700
Bye!

user228700
@BerryHolmes Ah, OK :-) I don't know any Biology, I'm afraid.

user228700
I usually hang out at the Physics S.E

@Kaumudi.H I don't know biology either.

user228700
:-P I see.

user228700
2:47 PM
Good luck with that question, then!

Physics! That's really cool, I've heard of someone there who takes fourier transforms of cats.
*Accidentally though.

Physics SE people have invaded Biology SE :D

NEET people have invaded this before us :P

From the transcript I found over 10 Indian bio students here =P

@BerryHolmes I see that reference lol

3:13 PM
@Tytoalba Just testing the feature. Not calling someone. Used continuation since the mentioned feature is being tested. Test done. No countdown clock seen.
I also looked the page corners. No "countdown" clock seen.

3:36 PM
@AlwaysConfused The countdown clock is not seen, but it alerts when only 10 secs are left for editing.

Hello, everyone! I am new to this website. I was wondering if there's anybody here who works in Epigenetics (or studies it). :)
And Genetics too.

7:34 PM
If you work as a researcher, introduce yourself :)
