Totally agree, I gave up two months ago, but still try to reach the "minmum" to avoid chaos, maybe time resolves it. Thank you. — Sam B just now

I will upvote if you make one thing very clear in your answer: the gym is one thing, and the social area of the gym is another. Similar with: the concert hall, and the cafe at the concert hall. Other than that, I agree with your answer. — virolino 1 min ago

@IPSCommentBot are gym goers okay with being called gym rats? How about Apple fanboys or bookworms?
@IPSCommentBot huh?

From the example you give, it sounds like people are willing to work out with you, but they don't describe the upcoming working in enough detail, is that correct? — DaveG 1 min ago

I'm upvoting this answer because it identifies some of the problematic thoughts that seem present in the question whether the question is truly what the OP wants to know or not the problem statements found here are of value — BKlassen 1 min ago

@SamB can you put a little more into the question about the "tournament" and what you are training for? I tend to go to the gym just to "work out" w/o a specific purpose in mind, but it sounds like you and the other people at the gym are training for a specific competition, which is a different situation. — DaveG 22 secs ago
