I have felt a similar issue often. At least personally, I am not sure exactly what is safe to leave out while still preserving the intended meaning of what I am trying to say. In effect, I attempt to use a very ambiguous language to speak in a very unambiguous manner. This inevitably results in the communication being long and often slightly inelegant. I feel that in a way, learning to communicate a message in fewer words is actually more difficult, requiring knowing what to leave implicit, a skill some find difficult, particularly under stress. But still a skill that can be practiced. — Vality 1 min ago

@Kat Well it is not quite black and white.. If you don't feel a connection and you tell a guy/gal this, yet they still continue.. Then I would agree it would be a bad kind of "persintency"! Yet if you figure out that you are not yet ready for the depth of commitment that a potential partner would present in their interest, then it is a whole different story, in which "persintency" in one part may secure a long lasting and close relationship! My remark is just a kind reminder that persistence on one part may not necessarily mean that you are dealing with a bad potential partner. — Kasper Thystrup Karstensen 33 secs ago

As a woman she is not required to give up a seat? Let me explain: When you sit in a seat marked as "priority seat" in the UK you are required to give up your seat if someone having problems to stand needs it. What your gender is is entirely irrelevant. The idea seems quite bizarre to me. Men and women pay the same for train tickets, so they have the same rights to a seat. — gnasher729 1 min ago

@EmC Any idea what an appropriate group would be? (Asking because help would clearly be needed, even though not on topic here, and I have no idea what an appropriate place would be). — gnasher729 1 min ago
