It is extremely uncommon to record people in Sweden, and by doing so you are just antagonizing the person that cut in line, increasing the chance that situation needlessly escalates. — JCJ 42 secs ago

Pretty good advice, thanks! May I ask in which situations you platonicly cuddled? I'd only imagine it not being awkward (at the beginning) when like watching tv or something. — Suimon 46 secs ago

Agreed. Some question lately are the most basic things in the world. Asked by people who want some attention it seems. — hopsinat 1 min ago

... but a way to answer that without lying is "I'm not currently looking for a relationship" Because you are not, you are in a classroom full of adolescents in a teaching capacity. +1 for this — J. Chris Compton 1 min ago

Just make sure you are OK with cuddling. Getting affection from a female can be very confusing and as someone who doesn't have a lot of relationship experience it is important you make sure you are OK with it. If something makes you feel uncomfortable you don't have to do it (even if you like the affection). You deserve to be loved and you deserve to be happy - if you think it jeopardises this then you don't have to do it. If you are absolutely OK with cuddling, genuinely have no romantic interest and can set up clear boundaries then the answer below is good :) — Benjamin Gruenbaum 1 min ago

@scohe001 thanks, I'm new on this site - I'll make an answer although I am not sure it's really an answer - worst case it gets downvoted and I'll learn, thanks! — Benjamin Gruenbaum 58 secs ago

"Is there any sort of etiquette for cuddling like in a just-friends (platonic) way?" No, because platonic friends who are in relationships with other people usualy don't cuddle together, and when they do it can turn into a whole ordeal. Being alone makes this seem like a good option, but because of the fact that she will be the sole person responsible for the intimacy you get in life, this might get out of hand and you will end up getting hurt. — José Matos 1 min ago

Some people get very emotionally attached to pets, others do not, This isn't an answer, just a bit of advice from someone who has had a lot of pets, and dealt with a lot of grief from others losing theirs. If your SO is an "attacher", a rodent is not a good pet. Having your heart ripped apart every two years or less can be devastating. Maybe the two of you could pick out another pet together after the grieving process has subsided, something with a longer life span. — Francine DeGrood Taylor 2 hours ago
