Whatever, I don't care
I think there was different room for star war.
Keep it there ;p

2 hours later…
7:25 AM
@KutuluMike I've always found the argument that tentpole blockbusters someone harm smaller film absurd. If your in the cinema, your seeing posters, ads and trailers for films that you'd have never otherwise heard of - that has to have a positive effect.
@AnkitSharma As I said on Reddit - At least some good came from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

user132126
It depends on your budget and stuff, though.

user132126
If I can only see 2 movies in theater this year, because of kids' needs, then it'll be the blockbusters.

user132126
I'm planning on seeing Dr. Strange, and besides that I don't know.

@CreationEdge Yeah, but those people are never going to see experimental indie flicks anyway.

user132126
The last time I was able to do stuff like that when I was single.

user132126
7:32 AM
I saw Juno

@CreationEdge Wow, that was quite some time ago. I was still in Secondary School when that came out.
@CreationEdge I'm fortunate in that my girlfriend doesn't mind being dragged to the cinema every week to see whatever has caught my eye this time.

user132126
I was a year out of high school. Things became a bit tumultuous after that.

user132126
We had a nice indie theater in our last town, but they couldn't always get indie flicks we would want to see.

user132126
Attack the Block was the closest we got, but that was really just a foreign film.

@CreationEdge This is the main problem I have with seeing some films. I AM the audience for smaller films that might be trying something (or a lot of things) new, but my local multiplex doesn't show them and the nearest indie cinemas are... not far away, but not close either.
@CreationEdge Attack the Block is a British film, isn't it?

user132126
7:35 AM
Yeah.

user132126
Debut of John Boyega, even.

user132126
I love it. Had a hard time getting it on BluRay, too. Had to order it online.

Hearing a British film referred to as a foreign movie is very strange for me.

user132126
It's weird for me, too, because we get plenty of British movies over here that are released as major films

user132126
But this one was released clearly as a British sci-fi movie

7:37 AM
@CreationEdge Well, it is very British, to be fair.

7:48 AM
Anyway, I ended up watching Captain America: The Winter Soldier again last night in my Road to Captain America: Civil War. I know I've said it before, but - damn, what a great film. I always forget just how good the action scenes are.
Just got Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man to watch now.
And then I see Captain America: Civil War on Friday evening - so, about 60 hours from now.

user132126
Let me know what you think of Ant-Man because I was super disappointed.

@CreationEdge >implying I haven't already seen Ant-Man.
@CreationEdge The TL;DR is that I kind of love it.

@DrRDizzle For me it brought some different good things , but leave it, it's already been discussed a lot ;)

user132126
Very interesting! It's at the bottom of my list!

@CreationEdge Have you only seen it the once?

user132126
7:57 AM
So far.

user132126
I'm waiting until it's on streaming to rewatch.

@CreationEdge I love that film and even Eleln Page but she broke my heart, as she is in not into guys
@DrRDizzle sounds good
@DrRDizzle Yeah sometimes British films are god too ;p

@CreationEdge I'd recommend a rewatch. It an be very, very difficult to divorce expectations from what you are actually seeing when you first watch a movie - hell, it's part of the reason that I didn't really love Iron Man 3 until my latest rewatch. Like Ant-Man, it isn't necessarily what you might expect it to be.
@AnkitSharma It's the best.

user132126
I had no expectations for Ant-Man other than "Paul Rudd is in it, so it should have humor"

@AnkitSharma I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that. UK #1.
@CreationEdge So you didn't find it funny?

user132126
8:00 AM
I didn't find it anything. I had a hard time watching it.

user132126
I'll watch it again, to give it a try. I think I was in a funk that night, anyway.

@CreationEdge I liked it but not unforgettable to me. Not going to rewatch

@CreationEdge I'm just asking because most people who dislike Ant-Man do so because they think it's too focused on comedy, rather than not being funny enough.

user132126
It seemed like everything was a bit forced in the movie, I guess? I'm not sure. I know I wasn't feeling the best when I watched it.

Although I will say that unless my newest rewatch impresses me as much as previous ones have, I may have been overstating how good it is in my review when I said "If it isn't the best film in the MCU, then it's certainly top 3" or whatever I said.

8:03 AM
Wow, I am almost reaching the power of full review bar on sicif
@DrRDizzle Now u r making sense, it's not top 3 at all
Winter soldier, GotG, Iron man 1, The Avengers. My top 4

@AnkitSharma I maintain it's probably in the top 5, but I need to rerank. My official top 5 at the moment is Captain America: The Winter Soldier at number 1, then going down; Avengers Assemble, Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
I think that might end up changing - it's likely that either Avengers: Age of Ultron or Guardians of the Galaxy will be dropped in favour of Iron Man 3.
And obviously, Captain America: Civil War will (hopefully) change things too.

@DrRDizzle If u drop GofG then u r dead to me or i might come and kill u
Drop age of ultron
But u don't like Iron man 1?

user132126
I need to rewatch all of them to give a fair assessment, but that's tough to do. I stopped buying comic book movies a long time ago. Now I only buy my absolute favorites.

user132126
Avengers 1 & 2, GotG. uhhh... I don't know if I have any other MCU movies. Well, I have Incredible Hulk on DVD, but I think it was given to me.

user132126
Iron Man on DVD I bought. Not sure if we own 3.

user132126
8:13 AM
Holy Crap, Deadpool came out for digital download yesterday?!?!

@AnkitSharma I really like Iron Man - the problem is, other than The Incredible Hulk (and maybe Thor: The Dark World) I like all the Marvel Cinematic Universe films at least somewhat.

user132126
I can't decide if I should buy the digital copy now, or wait and get the actual blu-ray. I haven't seen it yet.

user132126
But the digital version is only $15

user132126
T:DW blew. It was pretty, and that's it.

@CreationEdge I really didn't like Deadpool very much.

user132126
8:17 AM
It got such rave reviews, I'm sure I'll want to own it.

@CreationEdge Ehhhh, maybe. I haven't seen it in quite a long time, so I'm not 100% certain about what I'm about to say, BUT I seem to remember really enjoying the finale with the portals, and I quite liked the dynamic between Loki and Thor for most of the film.

user132126
Okay, fine, blew is a bit harsh.

user132126
There were a lot of good parts, but it was a disappointment when ranked versus other MCU films.

@CreationEdge Yeah, it's almost certainly in my bottom 3 MCU films.
But I still thing it's an OK, good enough movie. It's just nothing special.

user132126
What is HDX vs HD?!

user132126
8:20 AM
Incredible Hulk was a disappointment, too. I love the Hulk, and he just doesn't get justice.

@CreationEdge My takeaway from it was that if you are old enough to go see it in the cinema, you're too old for it.

user132126
Avengers version is much more in line with the character, but he still gets beat a little too easy for my taste.

user132126
lol

@CreationEdge I think they nerfed him on purpose, to make sure not every film just ended with Hulk winning.

user132126
I'm sure. They do that in the comics, too.

user132126
8:23 AM
Shoot! I have a presentation in the morning, and I still don't know if I can actually demo my code.

user132126
My laptop has HDMI out only, and the projector in class has DVI and VGA only, and no adapter for HDMI.

user132126
I saw a displayport port on the projector hub, but I don't know if the control panel will actually activate it.

user132126
FFS. Gotta grab my adapter and spare cable, and hope for the best tomorrow.

9:28 AM
@DrRDizzle hmmmm, k
@DrRDizzle Some specific reason for that? I think you already told but i forgot.
@CreationEdge That hurt my feelings. He is my fav marvel character with spider-man and x-men and almost none of them got justice yet

@AnkitSharma I just didn't find the films sense of humour very funny. It was trying so hard to be edgy and shocking, but that should really only impress 14 year olds. There were a couple of OK jokes, but in a film that sold itself on it's sense of humour? That's not enough for me.
Also, I didn't think the action scenes were very good at all, beyond the one on the motorway - which had been leaked online at least a few years earlier anyway.

I'm willing to admit that maybe Deadpool just wasn't for me.

hmmm
I like it way more them ant-man. So maybe our choice in comedy is also different ;)
But my no 1 x-men film is always first class.

9:43 AM
@AnkitSharma Agreed. The bar scene where Magneto gets revenge on some Nazi's is almost certainly the best scene in the X-Men films so far.

I liked X:1 but it was forgettable , I don't know why people give X:2 edge as i didn't enjoyed it as much and it's pretty forgettable too and i prefer X;1 over it ( buti still had many issues with dialogues, scenes, acting etc etc). But X:3 was disaster.
I ignore Wolverine solo film from existence.
So i left with only three films and first class is surely better then DoFP and deadpool
I am sad that gambit plan is almost canceled

Wait, you don't like The Wolverine?
@AnkitSharma Also, X2 is definitely a better film than X-Men.

@DrRDizzle No, it's better then X:3 and X-men origin but i slept in between the film due to boredom

@AnkitSharma Huh. The Wolverine is probably my second or third favourite X-Men film.

@DrRDizzle I don't find much of improvement in it. I prefer X:1 maybe because it brought what i like from comics and animation into live action but it was never near to original work. My fav X-men work is "X-men evolution"
@DrRDizzle here comes the diversion ;D
@DrRDizzle Have you ever checked "X-Men: Evolution"?

9:58 AM
@AnkitSharma Nope, and I don't intend to either.

Ohhh
It's one from the very few good animated series from marvel

@AnkitSharma Other than the DCAU, I'm really not that interested in animated superhero shows. I have far too much that I need to watch already (although I have heard that The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is a lot of fun).

The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes was good but marvel canceled it to make more dumb animated shows like Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble

@AnkitSharma Isn't that what happened to Spectacular Spider-Man too (which I've also heard is good)?

@DrRDizzle I didn't liked it, maybe i always compare spider-man animate series to the epic 90's animated series
Spider-Man, also known as Spider-Man: The Animated Series, is an American animated television series which based on the Marvel Comics superhero, Spider-Man. The show ran on Fox Kids from November 19, 1994, to January 31, 1998, and ran reruns on the Jetix block on Toon Disney and on Disney XD. The producer/story editor was John Semper, Jr. and the production company was Marvel Films Animation. == Synopsis == The series focuses on Spider-Man and his alter ego Peter Parker during his college years at Empire State University. As the story begins, Peter has already gained his superpowers and is a part...
Anyways i am more waiting for Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles season 2, as it's made by same DCAU team and i did like it's film and those samll 3 video of season 1
@DrRDizzle You can check Justice League: Gods and Monsters and Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles, it's quite short and refreshing but remember , it never care about "no kill rule", as they are complete different character, even there non superhero name are different

10:11 AM
@AnkitSharma I LOVED that show as a kid.
@AnkitSharma Then I probably won't like it very much. I have no idea why DC seem to be ashamed of their characters being heroes at the moment.

@DrRDizzle ashamed.....wow wow wow, it's the same team which already brought DCAU, so why should they make same thing again and again. So they bring a different concept a parallel universe where Zod's son became sueprman, Man-Bat became batman and Big Barda take the title of wonder woman.

@AnkitSharma That probably isn't for me at all.

K
Fair enough
Then u might like DCAU, as it's almost traditional heroes.

@AnkitSharma Sounds like I will, like I said I plan on watching Batman: The Animated Series when I've got some free time.
And I remember really liking Batman Beyond as a kid (although I don't know if that is actually part of the DCAU or not).

Only issue was Bat-Embargo

Q: Why doesn't Robin appear in the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited animated series?

Ankit SharmaRobin is part of the DC animated universe, so why doesn't he appear in the Justice League or the follow-up Justice League Unlimited series? What is the reason behind not including any Robin or Nightwing character in the Justice League series; not even as a special appearance?

10:22 AM
@AnkitSharma Huh, so DC have done things like this before.

@DrRDizzle Yeah it is canon but take place in far future then other shows

They did something similar with the Suicide Squad on Arrow, right?

@DrRDizzle Yup
But in Arrow, it look off as they come and then pushed back but in DCAU, certain character never came but it never affected anything at all
And the end product was lame Teen Titans show which was nowhere near to DCAU standard

10:40 AM
@DrRDizzle you're doing yourself a great disservice then
@CreationEdge yeah, they decided to release it ahead of schedule all of a sudden. i didnt read why.

@phantom42 so u like x-men evolution?

@AnkitSharma apart from a few issues, yes
i disliked what they did with magneto after season 1

I forgot the exact speicifcation
But i didn't mind anything in it

it was mostly just the neutering from this almost mythical badass to a just another guy
wolverine & the x-men was really good too

@phantom42 didn't checked it
I found trailers not much good, so never checked

10:48 AM
it's like a giant 26-ish episode of days of future past

I think i have seen some of it on YouTube
but they used different time traveler

it's xavier. he can't travel through time, but he can communicate backwards

So what was the DoFP cartoon with time traveler Bishop?
I watched that one on YouTube

the 90's x-men
with nimrod and trevor fitzroy

Ohh, i might mixed up then. I was satisfied with X-men evolution and it was on cartoon network and came in order but 90s x-men was handled here pretty bad

11:05 AM
@DrRDizzle wait... you haven't watched batman: TAS?
where's that kickban button

@phantom42 I've watched a couple of episodes, I think.

@phantom42 hhahhahaha

Q: Is the Disney series of Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes Canon to Avengers timeling

ChickenmanWingusThis is probably one of my favorites series, and as i was watching it for the fourth time I thought, is this even canon to the whole series? Can anyone find proof that it is?

user116211
2:03 PM
ohhh... bit too busy with X Files.....

user116211
Meanwhile, has anyone got a grab Flash's new episode?

user116211
Wells wants to re-create the same scenario that gave Barry his speed..... he wants to re-run the accelerator to make another speedster....

user116211
Would that mean there would be new speedster?

user116211
Jesse Quick?

user116211
Or Jay Garrick @phantom ;P

2:37 PM
Zolomon Hunter Grundy (born on a Mundy)
That could be the new speedster.
I'm not caught up on The Flash, but didn't Jesse skip town?
Another speedster who is made the same way should be Wally West...

user116211
@JackBNimble No, she came a bit in place of Caitlin..

Stay turned tonight for an all new episode of CW's The Flash: The Jay Garrick Show.
Deadpool Marketing has gone Crazy Eddie on iTunes.
Someone noted all the movies are released by Fox, so that is how they got away with it.
It is probably the only way I'd consider rewatching Alien 3

3:30 PM
@MAFIA36790 if there is going to be a new speedster I think we have a pretty clear candidate who that would be.
we've already seen that everyone Barry has ever met shows up at STAR labs at the word possible time.

user116211
@KutuluMike jesse... I guess. But 'm sure no new speedster would appear in the show at lest in s2.

...
yes, because there's definitely not anyone else on the show that we already know is gonna be a speedster.

user116211
It would be nice how Barry regains his speed....

The Flash (Wally West) is a fictional superhero that appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. He is the first Kid Flash and the third Flash. He made his first appearance as the Kid Flash in the Flash #110 in 1959. Wally took up the mantle of the Flash following the death of Barry Allen for twenty three years in DC's main lineup. On May 6, 2011, IGN ranked Wally West #8 on their list of the "Top 100 Super Heroes of All Time", ahead of any other speedsters, stating that "Wally West is one of the DCU’s greatest heroes, even if he doesn’t rank as the original Scarlet Speedster". In 2013...

user116211
In Re-birth, Barry actually created the speed-force.

user116211
3:36 PM
@KutuluMike Wally? No, I guess.

3:59 PM
@MAFIA36790 going to in some time

user116211
@AnkitSharma yeh... me too at 23:00 hrs.

I am staring in a minute and so ;)

user116211
@AnkitSharma I'm now busy with X Files....

k
it's in my long pending list

user116211
@AnkitSharma The Great List of AS

4:07 PM
hahahhahahaa

1 hour later…
5:12 PM
Nice episode
> Big spoiler, he didn't revealed his identity to someone new.

I cannot believe your lies.

hahahahahaaa
The other big spoiler is Caitlin is Jay Garrick

That one is obvious, everyone is secretly Jay Garrick

Maybe the person standing next to you is also Jay Garrick in disguise or maybe you are chatting to one ;)

The miracle of time travel is that Jay Garrick is in a position to systematically replace everyone on Earth with a version of himself.

5:22 PM
Have you seen last episode

I have not. I'm a couple episodes behind.

ohhh

5:34 PM
Rupture from promo looks like Star Lord

5:52 PM
Chris Hemsworth on which side he would choose in Civil War. Facebook Video

Teddy Sears just got cast in the new 24: Legacy show. The terrorist is Jay Garrick.

Holy crap. Jay Garrick is everywhere.

you are jay garrick

2 hours later…
7:41 PM
I got my Hot Toys scarlet witch yesterday. So awesome. Opening the quicksilver one tonight.

user132126
Do you have pics? Or, links to the official pics for quick viewing ?

@phantom42 That thing is super creepy.

not until i set it so it stares at you while you sleep

user132126
Oh, the movie versions? Interesting choice.

user132126
Ultron QS is better than X-Men, but he should have had X-Men QS's speed.

Reviews of Civil War are starting to appear.

8:18 PM
X-men QS as a character seems interesting Ultron has good looks nothing else.
Even Barry is faster then him ;)

Just saw a video that said in order to run on water you'd have to be doing 30m/s. Usain Bolt at top speed is 10.4m/s
Captain America is around 22m/s. He can nearly run on water.

Do you mean Captain America is also Jay Garrick :O

user132126
9:02 PM
I haven't seen s2 yet :(

@AnkitSharma That is amazing and on point.
My name is Barry Allen and I'm the fastest man alive. Except for Reverse Flash, and for Zoom, and for speed addict girl flash. I'm faster than Jay Garrick, or am I? Also Guinness refuses to collaborate my claim.

except he's not faster than jay garrick because zoom is jay garrick and zoom is faster than barry.
plus barry is jay garrick and he can't be faster than himself.
Jay Garrick on Doctor Who:

9:21 PM
Jay "The Fraud" Garrick. As this guy calls him.
That video is not up to date though.

9:55 PM
@CreationEdge You are missing Jay Garrick jokes ;D

user132126
Well, I know who he is..

11:44 PM
what's with the cellular dead zone around jesse and maybe wells? i don't remember that being a thing before.
