@keen, but he did turn - just delayed. When Tripp kicks the obelisk, the mist (terrigen?) spills out and hits Raina and Skye but doesn't affect him until a few moments later.

6:09 AM
and btw
Daisy Johnson is a fictional comic book superheroine appearing in books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Gabriele Dell'Otto, she is a superpowered secret agent of the intelligence organization S.H.I.E.L.D. The character has the power to generate earthquakes, and is the daughter of supervillain Mister Hyde. Chloe Bennet portrays the character in the television show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. == Publication history == A member of the international espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D., she was created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Gabriele Dell'Otto, and...
Granted, there is no 100% confirmation in the episode that Skye = Daisy Johnson, despite the recent wikipedia edits.
and NM Mo.Tanch has confirmed.

Haha.. Who created this chatroom.. Name is awesome.
@phantom42 Wow. Thanks for this. I guessed that she got superpower.
Looks like Raina is going to be Super Villain.
The question is: Will Daisy appear in next Avengers movie?

@phantom42 When the obelisk exploded, shards of it stabbed him in the chest. That seems to have killed him.

@Keen OK. I wasn't 100% sure since it was dark.
Wasn't sure if my eyes were playing tricks on me.
So what I'm trying to figure out now, and what I may open a question about...

There are shards sticking out of his chest as he's sitting on the ground.

Mack goes down into the temple, touches something on the floor and then turns into zombie-Mack.
It's not 100% clear if touching the floor by hand/unprotected is the key, but Coulson goes down without protection and left un-zombified.
Touching the floor by unprotected hand seems like an odd requirement for the zombie-fication.

@phantom42 Yeah, the writers kinda got sloppy there, but we did see Mack specifically activate something in the ground by touching it.
@phantom42 At this point, that's what I'm assuming is true. Too many details fit. We just need to wait until March (ugggghhh) for confirmation.
Or, hopefully, there will be interviews between now and then.

World's worst security system/trap: the ability to enslave all intruders - but only if they touch the floor with their bare hands.
Since we're in spoiler-chat. I missed the last few moments of The Flash. I saw Wells putting on his secret decoder ring, and that's it.

@phantom42 hahahaha you missed the thing.
SPOILERS FOR FLASH
He puts on the ring (a Flash ring!). He's in his secret room. He walks to a wall panel, which then slides away. Behind the wall is the Reverse Flash suit. He attaches a device (like a harness) to the front of the suit. Then the whole suit has energy crawling over it.
END SPOILERS

OK, that's pretty much what I thought.
Thanks.

Oh yeah, last night's Flash went 2 minutes longer. I guess your DVR didn't get the memo.

Yeah, it's usually really good about it

To get back on topic, I was stunned with the Terrigen crystals popped up. Did not expect that to actually happen so soon.

Yeah. Where had you read that it was confirmed that there was no mist?

3:01 PM
Now I'm wondering when Marvel will officially explain that this is in fact an Inhuman reveal. I'm fearing that this will be a season-long mystery.

I suppose the mist released wasn't necessarily "the mist", but mist definitely came out.

@phantom42 I think there was mist, but it was subtle. They had a blast of some sort, a shockwave in the air, which I think was the crystals releasing the mist.
yeah
Are spoiler tags necessary? The show is already several hours old. — Sachin Shekhar 1 hour ago

3:18 PM
Hey, the movie's been out for hours now!

3:52 PM
Today I (will probably) hit the rep cap by answering a ton of questions for shows that aired last night.

4:35 PM
I was delighted and infuriated when the previews at the end of the episode announced we'd be waiting until March for more AoS. I knew something like that would happen when I heard Agent Carter was starting in January, instead of the December timeframe I'd previously expected. So yay Carter, boo long waits.

Yeah, I literally boo'ed when they said that. I'm excited to see Agent Carter, but I don't want to wait that long for AoS.

4:49 PM
Reading through a recap right now. I almost forgot the glorious moment where Ward frees Skye and she immediately shoots him several times.
I may have cheered at that moment.

5:06 PM
Yeah, that was damned awesome.

5:18 PM
Interview with showrunners.
Aha, confirmation that she is Daisy Johnson.
I think I might do a self-answer on that. 'is Skye a character from the comics?'

@Keen could mention cal/mr hyde too

indeed

5:45 PM
Answer away.
@keen Asked it for you.

ah crap

6:04 PM
@Keen ?

@phantom42 I was mildly busy. Had to hurry to whip up an answer.

@Keen Yours is currently more complete.

I try.

@Keen Re: your "touching the diviner" question - comments in last night's episode made it sound like Dichen Lachman's power was immortality/longevity, but that that's not inherently the case for everyone else "worthy" of touching it.

@phantom42 Right, so the answer is, the Terrigen Mists made her immortal. Touching the Diviner wasn't a component of that.
I reopened it as we now have an answer. I figured I'd give it a day before self-answering.

@Keen Did they? I don't recall them specifically saying that Mom ever got hit by the mists/crystals.

@phantom42 It's implied. We know her 'gift' was immortality. We know that gifts are granted by the mists. We know others are out there with obelisks (and likely their own gifts).

@keen this interview all but 100% confirms mr hyde.
> Marvel.com: We also get the reveal of her dad as Mister Hyde, or Cal. What does bringing him into the series give you guys?
> Maurissa Tancharoen: As we always do, we pulled from what exists in the Marvel Universe and put our own spin on it. We had always had our eyes on Daisy Johnson, and therefore her father and her whole history.
Between Marvel saying it and then M.Tanch saying they used Daisy and her father, I'd say it's as definitive as possible without actally saying, "Yes. He is Mr Hyde"
