I read his origin story recently so I recognize bits of it.

yeah, i know the 30 second elevator pitch version of his origin but i assume there's more to the movie than just that. like batman begins

also, i swear that early talks about dr strange said that the movie picked up with him already having powers

i may just be thinking of spidey though

I can see skipping the origin story for Spider-Man

or simple ones, like Black Panther, which we basically got all we needed in Civil War

yeah faraci's quote makes it sound like there would be little to no origin or learning to become a sorcerer. becoming a sorcerer takes up like 90% of the trailer here

having said that, Stephen Strange was apparently doing something unusual way back in Winter Soldier timeframe

because he's not a meta or anything.

he was just a normal guy before he learned to be a sorcerer, so why would HYDRA care about him before that?

guess we'll find out in a few months.
