12:43 AM
shoots self in head

4 hours later…
4:37 AM
the rumor is that, in addition to Jordan and Stewart, we may also get Kyle Rayner.

5:22 AM
hahahahhaha
I will start from today....hopefully
@KutuluMike I already told but nobody believed me. But by adding three human green lantern they can easily ruin it, seems too risky now

2 hours later…
7:50 AM
So I watched all the Phase 1 MCU films (excluding Thor) over the weekend in preparation for Captain America: Civil War, and I plan on doing all of Phase 2 (not including Thor: The Dark World or Guardians of the Galaxy) in the next five days. It turns out that Iron Man 2 isn't as bad as I thought, whereas The Incredible Hulk is worse than I thought.
So my new least favourite MCU film is The Incredible Hulk.
Iron Man 2 is still my second least favourite, although I haven't seen Thor: The Dark World in a while.

1 hour later…
9:08 AM
I think the nearest and best cinema to me is only showing Captain America: Civil War in 3D. That's unacceptable.

9:53 AM
@DrRDizzle It always happen like this in here
@DrRDizzle I am proud of you now ;)

10:03 AM
@AnkitSharma It's really annoyed me. I hate seeing films in 3D, so now I'm going to have to travel for it.

I have seen all MCU film in 3D
Can't tarvell after office and can't wait till weekend , so 3D
WTH, it's coming in UK before us
curse u @DrRDizzle

10:20 AM
@AnkitSharma All the Marvel films have came out here earlier for quite some time. It's awesome.

It was different, they started releasing them in India first
But now stopped

11:01 AM
@AnkitSharma That's just because the UK is the best.

Why would you watch all of Phase 2 and skip Guardians ?
because it has no impact on Civil War plot? or because you like to force yourself to suffer?

@KutuluMike Because I have limited time and I don't think it'll have anything to do with Captain America: Civil War - the same reason I'm not doing either of the Thor films, basically.

oh, I thought it was because they were terrible :)

@KutuluMike I quite like Thor. I'm less certain of my opinion on Thor: The Dark World.
I mean, it isn't a bad film, but...

none of the MCU movies are bad films, except compared to the other MCU movies
even Hulk is better than a most other comic book movies, it's just probably the worst of the Marvel Studios ones.

11:11 AM
@KutuluMike I don't know. I mean, we all know I'm a gigantic Marvel biased shill, but even I couldn't get interesting while watching The Incredible Hulk. It's a weak movie.
@KutuluMike And it also doesn't really tie-in with anything that has happened since. I basically ignore it when it comes to head-canon.

11:44 AM
@DrRDizzle Now you are acting drunk

@AnkitSharma A staple of the UK, which (need I remind you) is the best.

I can't trust the people who can't stick to one accent :P
@KutuluMike To me Hulk was way better the Incredible hulk.

....
the ang lee hulk?

yup
I know people hate it more but i liked it in few parts and overall i can digest it but Incredible hulk bored me a lot

12:08 PM
@DrRDizzle nothing could make you interesting
there's just something about TIH that doesn't feel connected to the rest of the universe, and maybe part of that is just the lack of nods to the rest of the movies (we have what? the reference to erskine and the post-credits?). it feels like a project where someone didn't read the styleguide and made an acceptable standalone movie, but one that is just missing some of the MCU DNA

@phantom42 Dang it.

@DrRDizzle i only took the shot because it was old enough that you couldn't edit it

@phantom42 There is actually fairly consistent references to both SHIELD and Stark technologies throughout. The problem is how structurally and tonally different it is to any of the others.
That and the fact that the ongoing Banner/Ross story was totally abandoned from Avengers Assemble onwards.

well, that's how well it integrates post-TIH
but even with my original watch, it just felt like something was missing

@phantom42 The thing missing is a sense of fun, btw. There are, at most, a handful of things that could be described as jokes in The Incredible Hulk.
And the fight scenes have nothing that could be described as fun action beat - it's all very serious.

12:19 PM
it was The Hulk as told by Zach Snyder

Although having said that, I quite like the chase sequence through the favela at the start of the movie, and parts of the "Hulk on Campus" action scene.
And Edward Norton isn't a bad Bruce Banner.
@KutuluMike "On my world it stands for smash".
"Tell me, do you green? You will".

"here's the part where I beat up the bad guy and probably put 150,000 people out of work or homeless in the process."

@KutuluMike But I mean, at least the Hulk is well established as an unpredictable, unreliable, dangerous rage monster. That was a new take for Superman.

this is true.
I liked the movie, but I was annoyed how quickly they dropped just about everthing in it.

If anything, this just further reinforces my point that Man of Steel would have been a better Hulk film.

12:23 PM
no leader. no betty. the whole idea that Bruce was learning to control the Hulk instead of "just be angry all the time".

@KutuluMike Unless Captain America: Civil War does something big with General Ross, it's effectively non-canon at this point.

well, we can pretend that Ross is persona-non-grata after the abomnation disaster.
so he just stays away from the metas.
but now that Hulk is out of the picture, what's the point of him?

@KutuluMike It did make me laugh when rewatching The Incredible Hulk. The corrupt army boss behind not just creation of Hulk but Abomination too is lecturing The Avengers on responsibility. Really?
How many people died in Harlem, you big asshole!

@KutuluMike speaking of... did you see the quote from joss that he wants back in to the MCU?

no...
I figured, though.
when he "quit", it wasn't like he hated it. he was burnt out on it.
but he's a storyteller and a comic writer and a marvel fan.

12:31 PM
i hope they at least bring him back as a consultant

Captain Marvel has no director.
and Joss likes writing strong women.
that would be perfect.

12:45 PM
there's rumors going around that disney's tower of terror ride is going to get a GotG makeover

MCU had so many films but still no good superheroine

@KutuluMike It would be, if Whedon didn't work best when he has a large cast to play with. I wonder how suited his style of writing would be for a smaller cast.

but that it's going to be the same ride, just with a new skin
which makes... zero sense.

@AnkitSharma Black Widow may not have a solo-film, but she's still a great superheroine.

@DrRDizzle To me she is not as strong, as she should be by now

12:47 PM
i would have loved to have seen joss's take on GotG. that's the sort of team dynamic he typically excels at
gunn knocked it out of the park though

@phantom42 To be honest, I imagine Whedon had at least something to do with Guardians of the Galaxy. It'll be interesting to see what the sequel ends up like in a Marvel Studios without Joss Whedon doing rewrites.
@AnkitSharma What do you mean by strong? She's probably the second most well-developed character in the MCU at this point - that fits the definition of a strong character in my eyes.

@DrRDizzle 2nd :O, by which sense
She is in four films, and one of them was too bad for my taste
The best i like her in civil war but then it got ruined in age of ultron for me

@AnkitSharma As in, of all the character arcs we've seen over the course of the 12 films released in the MCU so far, Black Widow has the second most interesting and robust. We've seen her change as a person in meaningful ways, ones rooted in who she is and what she is going through.

@DrRDizzle meaningful way. Yeah she meaningfully ruined hulk arc and her own too

have you not watched any of the MCU movies in the past few years along with DD S2?

12:54 PM
After casting two bad Betty Ross's they opt to make black widow a ripped off Betty Ross
kind of

@AnkitSharma Well, no. They're both characters longing desperately for a normal life, but know that they can never have that.

@phantom42 I have seen everything from marvel accept DD S2
@DrRDizzle meh...

@AnkitSharma Good counter-point.

@phantom42 But i had my issues with age of ultron which i am sticking with. Specially for ruining black widow and hulk for me.
@DrRDizzle Call me old school or whatever but i like love story to happen naturally not thrown onto my face.

@AnkitSharma It isn't a love story, it's a tragedy. By the end of the film, they realise that they just can't be together.

1:00 PM
@DrRDizzle Yeah i liked it that it ended, i can't see there forced love onto my face again.
Now my hope is on wasp more.

@AnkitSharma Wait a minute, you like Man of Steel! That's got the worst, most unearned kiss in all of film history in it!
@AnkitSharma It's not even forced. Watching Avengers Assemble with the knowledge of the upcoming Banner/Romanoff relationship actually provides it with quite a lot of context.

@DrRDizzle I liked man of steel as a film but i never praised there love arc, it was bit under developed and i want to see it get developed in later sequels but BvS ruined it for me
@DrRDizzle Now you are making your own stuff.
@DrRDizzle Man of steel - my issues were forced Easter eggs and Lois lane. Age of ultron my issues were whole black widow ( except bike scene) + hulk + lame twins + lame villain + vision cameo +..........

can we stop talking about "forced love on [ankit's] face"? i've been on the internet too long for that phrase to keep getting thrown around.

hahahhahahhaha
k
surely

you're hoping banner gets together with hope?

1:10 PM
@phantom42 what :O
No i want betty

10 mins ago, by Ankit Sharma
@DrRDizzle Yeah i liked it that it ended, i can't see there forced love onto my face again.
9 mins ago, by Ankit Sharma
Now my hope is on wasp more.

@phantom42 I mean for seeing a good superheroine in MCU.

ah

I can't say anything for ms. marvel yet as not much revealed yet
But i liked actress playing wasp

they just need to give her a wig that doesnt look like crap

1:17 PM
@AnkitSharma Woah woah woah. The Vision was awesome, and I won't back down here.
@AnkitSharma Nope. It's Black Widow who goes to pick up Hulk from Calcutta - it's Black Widow who introduces him to the rest of the Avengers - it's Black Widow who first sees him turn into the Hulk. They share an awful lot of screentime in Avengers Assemble, and although none of it is romantic, it's certainly laying the foundation of their relationship.
Platonic or not.

1:35 PM
@phantom42 isn't that how they all work?
also.
"vision cameo"?
It seems very likely that you don't know what a "cameo" is.
@DrRDizzle I'm not sure I would agree that her character is the best developed, though.
she starts out as Nick Fury's errand girl, then turns into the love interest/damsel in distress
the closest we come to a backstory for her is her hallucination scene

@KutuluMike well, versus building an actual new structure/ride, the talk is that they're going to just throw a new face on ToT, much like universal did with dueling dragons

everything she does in the entire series is based on which of the Avengers she's attached to. "go babysit tony." "go babysit bruce". "come get Clint." "go babysit Steve". "go babysit Bruce, again." "oops, you're in jail"

the difference being that a castle and dragons coaster made sense being rethemed into a harry potter...
i have no idea how a haunted hotel is supposed to fit into GotG

shrug
is this the first Marvel-themed ride at Disney?
Universal still has the exclusive on most of that, I thought

it will be if it actually happens
apparently GotG has some special exclusion
and it may only happen on the west coast
assuming any of these rumors are true

1:45 PM
@KutuluMike Developed isn't just backstory though. I mean literally how we've seen her change over the course of the film, how her personality has developed and her worldview changed. Her arc rivals Tony Starks.

as long as avatar-land is awesome...
... said no one ever.

We're introduced to her as the stone-cold spy in Iron Man 2 and we don't see much else, but Avengers Assemble shows us why she works for SHIELD - she's made mistakes in her past and she's trying to make up for them - the red in her ledger. There is guilt there that is being relieved by her working for the good guys - so when she finds out that the good guys aren't so good in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it really shakes her. "I thought I knew whose lies I was telling".
Dropping all SHIELD's (and by association, her) secrets online at the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier is her coming out of the darkness and stepping into the light. She's vulnerable now, and mostly happy to be - which is why her character in Avengers: Age of Ultron is so much more open to the notion of a relationship than she was in Avengers Assemble, in which she states "Love is for children".
Like I said, second most well-developed character in the MCU. I still think Tony takes that particular biscuit.
And that's not even talking about her affection for Hawkeye's family and her inability to have one of her own, or how badly Steve's admission that he didn't trust her hurt her.

@phantom42 Serious, honest to God genuine question - does anyone here actually care about the X-Men films at this point?

except for the first wolverine movie and the last stand, i like them well enough
wife and i are pretty excited for this one
but x-men were my comics growing up

@phantom42 I like them well enough, sure - but I don't think I've ever eagerly anticipated the next one, or been excited to go see the new one. They're just... there.

the first wolverine and last stand burned pretty bad, and we were really skeptical with first class, but we've been excited and pleased since then
but again, x-men fanboy/girl
wife was obsessed with cyclops growing up
(and very disappointed in what they did with him)

@phantom42 I think most X-Men fans were very disappointed in film Cyclops. I can't blame them.

2:18 PM
i'd love to see what a better studio would do with the franchise, but the 12 year old fanboy in me still gets excited
same with transformer movies - because giant freakin transforming robots beating the crap out of each other.
and with TF movies, i go in not expecting anything but exactly that
or wanting anything but exactly that

Mystique is wearing her classic costume in this.

@JackBNimble The white sort of dress? Really?

That is at... exactly 2:00 in that trailer.

@JackBNimble No way, that's actually kind of cool.

At least, classic in the sense of it looks like what she wore in the 90s cartoon.
She even seems to have that odd yellow triangle on her forehead.
Hmm, I guess sometimes it is a triangle and sometimes it is like a skull.

2:41 PM
Do y'think they'll do the whole "Mystique is Nightcrawler's mother" thing?

Unless she is a time traveler, I don't see how that is going to work.
0
Q: Why can't Green Lantern make things?

user127202For instance, he could make a machine which allows him to teleport. We know it exists because Superman uses a boom tube. Also Green could make a potion which grants him permanent super strength.

I'm not sure if this is a dup of the question I linked in the comments.

@JackBNimble Well, Nightcrawler is meant to be how old here? If this is set in the 80's, Mystique is meant to be in her late 40's/early 50's.
Same as Beast, Professor X and Magneto.

Hmm, this X-men movie wiki claims she was born in 1934.
So, I guess anything is possible.

@JackBNimble That adds up - she appears to be about 10 in X-Men: First Class when we see her first meet a young Charles Xavier during WW2.
You've got to remember that X-Men: First Class was set in the 60's, X-Men: Days of Future Past the 70's and now X-Men: Apocalypse the 80's. That's around about 20 years over the trilogy.
If the character were in between mid-late 20's in the 60's (which seems fair), they are nearing 50 now.
The Cuban Missile Crisis happened in 1962 IRL, which makes Mystique 28 at the time.
All of which is to say - I see no reason why Mystique couldn't have a child at this point in her life.

user132126
Any hype for Apocalypse in here?

2:49 PM
@DrRDizzle true enough.

user132126
I was super psyched when I saw the Nightcrawler piece.

@DrRDizzle whatever
@DrRDizzle Nick fury also picked iron man, does that means.......

user132126
I don't see Vision as a cameo. He was pretty important to the plot.

@KutuluMike ROFL

user132126
Also, I'm assuming the redhead is young Jean, right?

2:53 PM
@CreationEdge Yes

user132126
And Cyclops. I'm really interested in seeing how Havok and he work together.

@CreationEdge Yeah, he had same role as cosmic cube from avenger 1 ;D

user132126
And why Havok unleashes inside Cerebro.

@AnkitSharma That wasn't the Cosmic Cube, it was the Tesseract.

user132126
@AnkitSharma More like cube in Captain America 1, if you're using that comparison.

2:55 PM
@CreationEdge yeah ;D

user132126
But he was used against the enemy, which didn't happen in Earth-based films. However, the Power Stone in Guardians...

user132126
Vision is awesome. I was so glad they used his different powers, like going immaterial.

To me vision was just a cameo better then twins but still nothing much
@CreationEdge I will watch it in theatre , that's it.
Fox is a risky business, so i want to go with zero expectation

user132126
I've liked the new X-Men movies. The original trilogy doesn't hold up.

@AnkitSharma I would imagine that The Vision has more lines in Avengers: Age of Ultron than Superman does in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Make of that what you will.

user132126
2:59 PM
But the new take on the new ones works for me.

@DrRDizzle As usual you are making ur own stuff.

@AnkitSharma Superman had 43 lines in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Like I said, I would imagine that The Vision has more.

@DrRDizzle He was for one hour, 3 sex scenes and 12 fight scenes with 49 dialogue :D
@CreationEdge Trailer is good but let me go with zero expectation ;D, as they broke it so many times for me

user132126
I wonder what's up with that Inception dreamscape in the Dr. Strange trailer.

user132126
With the folding city.

3:02 PM
@CreationEdge meh....

@AnkitSharma I'm just reporting the facts. 43 lines in the entire movie.

@DrRDizzle You also said vision had more dialogue....so....ur argument is invalid

user132126
@AnkitSharma I don't like it, just wandering.

me neither

@AnkitSharma I genuinely think he does. He has an entire speech at one point, for Gods sake, as well as his conversation with Ultron.

3:04 PM
But i am sure for dizzel it must be best trailer in the universe :p
@DrRDizzle R u on serious meds ;p

@AnkitSharma I just did a quick count on a script and Vision has about 35 sentences to speak in the film. That's just 8 less than the title character of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. If you think The Vision is just a cameo, then what do you think of Superman?

ARe we talking about BvS or Age of ultron

@AnkitSharma Both, obviously.

Whenever i point something you give proof from BvS
So u agree that both films are on same level

@AnkitSharma Hahahaha. Where on Earth did you get that from?

3:09 PM
Because your points are like that

user132126
Okay, lets find the screenplay

I ever said superman was great in BvS, i never said BvS is great film
Similarly i don't like age of ultron
and vision had no more then cameo for me

You said that The Vision was just a cameo, I disagreed. To highlight why he isn't a cameo, I pointed out he shares roughly the same amount of lines as a title character in another film does, one we can all agree is not a cameo. Your conclusion from this is that... I like Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice as much as I like Avengers: Age of Ultron?

SO you count character length by dialogues?
So what about cast away?
How many dialogue he had
Or groot from GotG?
Are they cameo too because they have less dialogue ?

user132126
Vision had 18 lines, not counting by sentence, merely times dialogue switches to him

user132126
3:11 PM
If that's even a worthwhile metric.

user132126
I want Vision to have plenty of time in Infinity Wars.

How much minute vision was in film and how did he impacted the film after his arrival

user132126
He's not in Civil War, is he?

@AnkitSharma No, of course I don't. I'm merely using that as a quantifiable metric.

user132126
@AnkitSharma Shrug Don't know, don't care

3:13 PM
@AnkitSharma Well he unites the Avengers and kills Ultron, so I'd say he has a pretty enormous impact on the film.

@DrRDizzle Yeah whatever, ur every point is x vs BvS, so its meh......

@CreationEdge He is. He's on Team Iron Man.

user132126
Oh!

user132126
They ditched the Hulk, but Vision is more Superman than Thor

@DrRDizzle What u call wonder woman's role in BvS. Kindly avoid your hate for a sec and apply ur quantifiable metric.

3:14 PM
@CreationEdge You can see him in most (all?) of the trailers.

@CreationEdge Hulk is in thor 3....so they balanced it maybe

user132126
Cameo is defined as a very brief appearance of a character or actor in a film

user132126
@DrRDizzle I guess I didn't pay attention. But, more than just one fight?

Ok ,s o Vison was the main lead in age of ultron......now happy ....
O-o

@AnkitSharma In my review I said "what basically amounts to an extended cameo" while talking about Wonder Woman.
@CreationEdge I think so, but I'm certainly not sure. I haven't seen it yet :( :(

3:15 PM
Now can we go with scene count of wonder woman and vison?

> cameo: a small theatrical role usually performed by a well-known actor and often limited to a single scene; broadly : a brief appearance or role

How vison became main cast but wonder woman didn't

@DrRDizzle I remeber that, that's why i raised that point

user132126
I don't care how little she was in BvS, her presence was awesome

user132126
3:16 PM
Diana Prince's presence far less so.

wolverine in first class was a cameo

@CreationEdge I agree on that.

user132126
@phantom42 Oh, that jewelry definition, I forgot!

wolverine in apocalypse is supposedly a cameo

@CreationEdge But she didn't actually do anything, remember. She was cool, but it was very much just a lead in to her solo film. I wouldn't say the same thing about The Vision, who had an important role to play.

3:17 PM
@phantom42 My point is if Wonder woman counted as cameo then why vision became main cast?

/shrugs. i didnt count her as a cameo. i also havent seen the movie.

4 mins ago, by Ankit Sharma
@DrRDizzle What u call wonder woman's role in BvS. Kindly avoid your hate for a sec and apply ur quantifiable metric.
@phantom42 fair enough :D

the one scene definition is a fair one to me

@AnkitSharma I haven't got a copy of the BvS script to hand.

user132126
@DrRDizzle That's fine by me. I don't mean meritorious to the plot, just cool, here

3:19 PM
you can be a supporting role/member between the two
even a guest spot
as i understand it, flash was a cameo in bvs

@DrRDizzle So ur definition of cameo is how you like it rather then ur quantifiable metric?
@phantom42 As per dizzle even superman was in cameo for BvS because of dialogue count metric

user132126
@phantom42 Hmm, yes. And Aquaman and Cyborg.

user132126
Dunno why we're arguing cameos vs. roles, it doesn't affect the quality of the film overall, really.

user132126
Except that some roles could have been extended. We don't know whether the original storyboard meant to include them or not, though.

user132126
I feel like Wonder Woman's bracelets didn't prevent getting cut from the script.

3:24 PM
@AnkitSharma My comparison of lines was just meant to highlight that Superman, literally a title character of the movie, doesn't have many more lines that what you have decided is a cameo! I wasn't saying that anyone with only X number of lines is a cameo, or you must have at least Y number of minutes on screen to be a real role!

@CreationEdge because ankit and dizzle argue over everything

user132126
lol, like Wad and Axelrod.

user132126
I really didn't get the desert scene that started BvS. I don't get why it was such a big deal.

user132126
It was a few mercs and terrible people killed.

@CreationEdge I thought it was just a dream sequence (within a dream sequence), but I've read online that it was meant to be a vision of an alternate future or something.

user132126
3:27 PM
Not that one.

user132126
The one with Lois at the start.

@phantom42 lol
I didn't dragged BvS in the conversation

user132126
It was such a weak ignition for doing a investigation committee into Superman

user116211
New episode of Game of Thrones unleashed!

Anyways as per rumour in BvS expeted cut there are more scenes of Clark Kent

3:29 PM
@MAFIA36790 does it have a cameo by the vision or wonder woman?

user116211
o.O

user132126
Clark Kent had very little purpose in BvS except maybe that Luthor Party scene squabble with Batman.

@AnkitSharma given that the original cut is like 4 hours long, i'm pretty sure it's got cut scenes of every damned character in the movie

user132126
Which was a good comic relief point and tension builder

I only liked wonder woman and batman (minus dreams) from film
Superman.....meh.......lois meh meh meh

user132126
3:32 PM
The Knightmare scene was very neat, but it needed a segue, not just an after-the-fact attempt at explaining it.

user132126
I would have gone with the Flash portal appearing while Bruce was asleep, and Flash touching his head or something, and then a bursting transition into the Knightmare.

Dream were more out of the line then the whole film

user132126
It should have happened sooner, too, to build up Batman's concern over Superman.

But for me extended cut can't redeem the film
It can bit improve

@AnkitSharma In all honesty, if the extended cut gave us an extended version of the Senate hearing where we actually get to see Superman defend his actions, and showed us why we should like and trust him (and cleaned up the editing and pacing issues), I think Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice could be... well, not good, but certainly OK.
I don't know how Lex could be salvaged at all - I think that's beyond redemption entirely.

3:39 PM
@DrRDizzle By saying that lex was controlled by Darkseid and then show a s a new personality of him in sequel

@AnkitSharma Even then, I doubt it. I mean, his actions are inconsistent, his plan is convoluted and ridiculously stupid, Eisenberg is just horrible in most scenes... I can't see that version of the his character ever working in this film. It's too far gone.

user132126
Has any recent comic book movie even done an extended cut?

@DrRDizzle Yeah, he didn't integrate. They could have shown him doing actual surveillance on the film and being obviously involved to us in the machinations.

user132126
It was a "twist" that it was all him. The late reveal and no build up left us with a "Who gives a shit?" attitude about what he did.

@DrRDizzle meh......kill him and bring lex sr.

3:43 PM
@CreationEdge Like, even with knowledge of Darkseid coming - his plan is what? Have Doomsday, an unstoppable monster, destroy the world before Darkseid can? I just don't get it.
Kill the only person who might be able to stop Darkseid?
Is he working for Darkseid?
If so, why tell Batman that he's on the way?

user132126
Darkseid was even an accident, really! There was no build up to that. It was like "Ooh, this actually works? What'll happen now?"

It's just nonsense.

@DrRDizzle Have you checked deleted scene of BvS?

@CreationEdge I actually laughed out loud while he was doing his "Ding ding ding" thing.
@AnkitSharma Yeah, it tells me nothing at all.

user132126
Darkseid was neat, but Lex needed to have visited the facility earlier and be shown learning the info.

3:44 PM
@DrRDizzle Maybe a nod to lex working for him

user132126
I know in comics he hijacked the Fortress of Solitude and learned Krytonian technology. But there was a build up. A study.

user132126
I think many scenes we saw were alright, but the build up to them needed more work. I'm not sure which scene I'd delete...

Time to watch GoT now

user132126
I'd get rid of the whole committee thing, actually.

user132126
Superman was involved in the destruction of half of Metropolis (did we see destroyed buildings in BvS? Was the Daily Planet in a new building?), that's enough to have the US government want to find a way to manage him.

3:47 PM
Even if that general after MoS got the "You can't control me" line from Supes

@AnkitSharma again. You are using the word "cameo" incorrectly.
> cameo: a minor part played by a prominent performer in a single scene of a motion picture or a television play
by definition, a cameo cannot have any significant impact on the plot. Or it's not a cameo, it's a supporting role
Cyborg and Aquaman: cameos. Flash: borderline cameo.
Stan Lee: cameo. Vision: major character
he was in half the f'ing movie.
including the entire climax
Even Flash wouldn't have been a cameo, if that stupid scene had made any goddamned sense or had any impact on the plot.

will get back to u later
stuck with GoT

@KutuluMike Are we sure robot time traveler was Flash?

I think Snyder has come out and said it was him, yes.
I asked about that on the site, 1 sec

A: Was the messenger in Bruce Wayne's weird dream supposed to be The Flash?

OmegacronYes, that IS actor Ezra Miller wearing what appears to be a Flash costume enhanced with some sort of mechanical armor or apparatus. The meaning behind both his appearance and message will probably be explained in the upcoming Justice League films. Speculation: Based on what we know, however, w...

4:12 PM
cameo: stan lee
minor role: the korean doctor, von strucker
supporting role: hawkeye's wife, nick fury
starring role: the avengers

user132126
If you want to understand the Flash portal scene, please watch this:

user132126
It's impulse, not Flash, but all the elements are the same.

user132126
And his reason for travelling are similar, except the disaster future is a different race.

everyone knows it was jay garrick.
everyone is jay garrick.

4:50 PM
lol

user116211
Often the conversations of this room ends up in everyone is jay garrick.

user116211
Damn ;((

hahahhaha, agreed on that

1 hour later…
6:15 PM
I'm Jay Garrick

jay garrick is dead to me

6:31 PM
nathan fillion is jay garrick showing up at least on posters in GotG2 as simon williams
the confusing potato quality photo is of an in-universe movie poster for what appears to be a tony stark biopic that is playing at a simon williams movie festival

Jay Garrick IS Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves.
@phantom42 Does this mean GotG2 is coming to Earth?
Nevermind, I read the article now.

my experience with wonder man has been like two issues where he showed up in some massive crossover.
know nothing about about him other than the fact that he has a dumb costume

6:51 PM
huh.
next time people complain that batman kills people in the dceu
show them the captain america supercut where the straight up murders like 50+ people
throws them out of airplanes, off aircraft carriers, beheads them with his shield, bounces bullets at them.

has cap ever had a supposed anti-killing stance?
i know he gets all holier-than-thou with punisher, but everybody does.
tony is pretty brutal too
during his escape and then when he goes back to rescue the village
did we ever figure out where it was that hulk/tony busted up? i think we decided it wasn't wakanda, but was that all we came up with?

just some random south african city, i guess

2 hours later…
8:46 PM
@KutuluMike Cap's a soldier. "I don't want to kill anyone. I don't like bullies, I don't care where they are from".

but he's also american, so, "do as i say, not as i do"

That's the American way.

Guys, if you're going to announce something as ground-breakingly amazing as Nathan Friggin' Fillion showing up in the MCU you need to star that shit or something to make it more obvious.
Damn it, it looks like more of a sort-of Easter Egg than anything else.
