I first try to test what I get for a single user - as a test whether the queries I am doing are counting tags and scores correctly.
So here is overview of answers divided by tag for a single user: data.stackexchange.com/math/query/1263184/… And this is what we get if we eliminate CW-answers: data.stackexchange.com/math/query/1263185/…
This can be compared with the data shown in the users profile. I see there "gave 222 non-wiki answers with a total score of 782" - so the data returned from SEDE seem to be correct.
The query for a single user returned 393 and 376 rows. And this is what we got from the above queries.
I am only able to do a simple query which is a bit imprecise - since some users have both Id and Displayname. But since such cases seem to be rather rare, this is probably not that much of a problem.
Of course there are users who have the generalist badge: "Provide non-wiki answers of 15 total score in 20 of top 40 tags."
One could play around with many other modifications of the above queries - if somebody is inclined to do so and has the time.
The usual disclaimer: I only know very little SQL and I am prone to mistakes, so take all my queries with a grain of salt.
You can also search among the existing queries. For example, there are many queries related to the generalist badge. (I wasn't sure which search terms to use if I wanted something similar to your question - maybe you might have better luck seraching.)
