From the comments:
> The exceptions are games like the ones mentioned at the end of the article. They are the sort of game some people play with the settings turned down to minimum levels in an effort to max out a 360 FPS screen in the hope of getting an edge over their opponents.
Even if the game shows 360 fps, those competitive games are likely capped at 40, 60 or 120 hz in terms of simulation... not sure there is a gain there.

"hope of getting an edge over their opponents" - we don't need facts here, just room for speculation, superstition & a way to justify the cost of over priced video cards.

You've got a point.

What's up with the code display on this post? I was going to clean it up a bit & noticed a lot of the code displays with comment style formatting.
Looks like maybe it starts with the line:
///PUT PRODUCTS HERE <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

It seems all the <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< create some kind of "heredoc"?

Actually, I'm not quite right - it's not comment formatting - but the usual color coding seems disrupted.

removing all three of those made the code coloured correctly on my end.

@Vaillancourt Huh. Is it legit to edit that out then in the interests of fixing the rendering?

I think it is totally legit!
(I would make sure to highlight it in the changelog note)

Cool. I try to avoid changing code too much beyond indents or sometimes apply a consistent style (when OP applies differing styles)
@Vaillancourt Sounds good. And I suppose if it's a problem, it can be rolled back.

Yes. I think in their own interest, it's generally better to have readable code than something unexpected...
TBH, though, they have crossposed on SO, so maybe this is effort wasted?

Oh nice.
Then under the circumstances, I'm going to let that one go - other things vying for my attention right now. Fixing up a cross post ranks pretty low on my current lists. Thanks for pointing that out.
