Yeah, but if that's not what you paid for, I could understand it generating some strong negative reactions. Most everyone I've talked to in says the real value is in attending is stuff like meeting people, networking & impromptu discussions that happen organically around the planned events. Not sure that'll migrate to stream.
Well, maybe if they have some rent a drone option. You could VR into a drone & talk with others who've done the same. What could possibly go wrong with that?
And drone collisions. So we'd have to bill for repair insurance too. Smells like a cyberpunk money maker to me.
I have a friend who dabbles in the drone scene - last time I asked about VR hookup he said the latency is a deal breaker. Of course that was a year or two ago, maybe things have progressed.
I agree with Andreas Brinck, barycentric coordinates are very convenient for this task. Note that there is no need to solve an equation system every time: just evaluate the analytical solution. Using Andreas' notation, the solution is:
s = 1/(2*Area)*(p0y*p2x - p0x*p2y + (p2y - p0y)*px + (p0x - ...
What are"px" and "py"? p0y and so on make sense, but these two don't.
@Vaillancourt No problem mate. I never expect any help whatsoever, please never feel any pressure from my side to fix my problems. I'm just coding for fun anyway really. @Tyyppi_77I just saw your message about my use of the std::vector and should use <unique_ptr>. I'd have never thought of that , so im keenly getting started trying that out. Thanks again all for your help
